Ans. Chandigarh University provides scholarships for CUCET 2024 based on the marks obtained in both Phase I and Phase II. The scholarship percentages vary as follows:

• For marks in the range of 90.01 to 100, the scholarship is 100% in both Phase I and Phase II.
• For marks in the range of 80 to 90, the scholarship is 50% in Phase I and 40% in Phase II.
• For marks in the range of 70 to 79.99, the scholarship is 40% in Phase I and 30% in Phase II.
• For marks in the range of 60 to 69.99, the scholarship is 30% in Phase I and 20% in Phase II.
• For marks in the range of 50 to 59.99, the scholarship is 25% in Phase I and 15% in Phase II.
• For marks in the range of 40 to 49.99, the scholarship is 15% in Phase I and 10% in Phase II.
• For marks in the range of 30 to 39.99, students are eligible for scholarships in both Phase I and Phase II.

Ans. To encourage students to pursue the B.Arch course, Chandigarh University offers an Architecture Scholarship that is determined by the merit secured in either NATA or JEE Main. The criteria for this scholarship are detailed as follows:

Chandigarh University B.Arch Scholarship Based on NATA:

Students who achieve more than 150 NATA scores receive a substantial scholarship equivalent to 40% of the academic fee. Likewise, those securing marks in the range of 120.1 to 150 are eligible for a 30% fee waiver, while scores falling between 100 and 120 result in a 20% scholarship. Students with NATA scores ranging from 90 to 99.99 are awarded a 10% scholarship on the academic fee.

Chandigarh University B.Arch Scholarship Based on JEE Main:

A JEE Main Paper II Percentile of more than or equal to 150 results in a significant 40% scholarship on the academic fee. Those with a percentile equal to or more than 85 but less than 90 receive a 30% fee waiver, while a percentile equal to or more than 80 but less than 85 leads to a 20% scholarship on the academic fee.

Ans. Chandigarh University offers scholarships for its Lateral Entry (LEET) courses, which provide direct admission to the second year of undergraduate programs. To be eligible, students must possess a diploma in the relevant field. The scholarship amounts are determined by the marks obtained in the diploma program. For students with a diploma mark of more than or equal to 90%, they are entitled to a substantial scholarship, receiving 50% of the semester fee. Those who fall in the 85-89.99% range are eligible for a 20% scholarship of the semester fee, while students with marks ranging from 80-84.99% receive a 10% scholarship of the semester fee.

Ans. Chandigarh University extends scholarships to undergraduate students based on their Class XII performance, with the scholarship being granted to 10% of the total students enrolled in each course. The scholarship amounts vary according to the aggregate scores in all subjects, including additional ones. For students securing Class XII marks of more than or equal to 90%, a scholarship of 50% of the semester fee is awarded. Those falling in the 85-89.99% range receive a substantial 20% of the semester fee as a scholarship, while students with scores ranging from 80-84.99% are eligible for a 10% scholarship of the semester fee.

Ans. Chandigarh University offers scholarships to SC students through Post Graduate Scholarships for Professional Courses offered by UGC. This scholarship is available for 1000 SC/ST candidates. Students who want to pursue a PG degree in professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, etc. in Indian Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges can apply for this scheme. SC students enrolled in Chandigarh University online courses or distance education are not eligible to apply. The renewal of the scholarship depends on the annual progress of the student in the first year.

Ans. The students have to maintain a minimum of 7.5 CGPA in the semester examination for the renewal of the Chandigarh University scholarship.

Ans. Chandigarh University offers scholarships to MBA students based on the entrance test scores submitted. The scholarship is given to 10% of the total students enrolled in each course.

Ans. Chandigarh University offers an Early Bird Scholarship to M.E. candidates as per the following conditions-

• A 15% scholarship is given to students who have completed a B.E. from Chandigarh University, provided they pay the full semester fee at the time of admission.
• A 10 % Scholarship is given to the students who have completed their Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology from other universities.

Ans. Chandigarh University offers the Kalpana Chawla scholarship to ten female candidates belonging to EWS of Chandigarh. The applicant must have completed 10+2 from Chandigarh and should be willing to study their preferred course at CU. Under this scholarship, a 10% fee waiver will be offered to the beneficiaries every year. The total amount sanctioned for this scholarship is INR 10 Lakhs. The candidate’s family income should be less than INR 3 Lakhs per annum.

Ans. Chandigarh University offers scholarships for engineering students based on merit in JEE Mains (All India Rank). The scholarship is given to 5% of the total students enrolled in each course.
