CU, like other private colleges in the Punjab area, has its challenges. On the other hand, AKG stands out because it's located in the NCR, an area full of industries. It also has NAAC and NBA certifications, takes part in many national and international contests, and offers good placement opportunities. Good luck!

Placements are offered and good companies also viist it. I am in third year and I have been intop a few placement drives and it is good. The problem is there are a lot of students, however not many are eligi ble due to the criterias, but still the competition is high. Comapnies even provide decent packages of 7LPA median.
A few teachers are good and few are just for the sake. there are a lot of students so the faculty to student ratio is less and classes have a lot of students. The course structure is ystematic and it goes smoothly even if someone says it's fast paced, but overall it is good. There are two mid semesters and the end semsters are stricly monitored. The marking scheme is based on percentile system. The grades will be decided on how many students scored how much in a certain subject.
The clubs, the extra curricular activities part of this college is awesome. I do debating and orating, The department of Art and Cultural Affairs took to me Mumbai, Pune, Delhi for competitions and all costs were taken by the college. You just have to represent your college and win. The only need is you have to be good at what you do. There are a lot of people from different parts of the country so it's diverse society, so we learn a lot. There are innumerable clubs and all doing their work and conducting events and workshops and even have budgets to run. Its a well speculated environment for any student.
The hostel rooms are 4 and 5 seater rooms which are not spacious at all. They come with a single bed, a study table,an almirah. The mess is okayish as we get bored of eating a fixed menu for a whole week. Cooler's are available only single per room and AC rooms are available for only international students.
