Chandigarh University - A Wise Choice

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fees structure for CU is around 106k per semester, which doesn't include the hostel charges. You have to pay extra 100k for hostel yearly. About the scholarship , you can gain upto 50% Scholarship on tution fees via CUCET exams and if you want to maintain that scholarship , you need to maintain bare minimum 7.5 CGPA , failing to do so will result in termination of scholarship program. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am from BE-CSE and our semester fees is 136000 (joining year 2024) and now for 2025 batch it is increased by 10000Rs. If a student want to go with campus placement they have to pay 12000 just once and if they want to go with other career options they can choose other program as well and if a student dont want to opt any of these he/she can do that. They ask to pay money in 3rd sem. Yes, They give scholarship based on their exam and based on JEE mains score and other criteria and there is also scholarship for defence people but that is around 10% to 20% and for sc/st the fees is totally free but you must have valid proofs. They will charge 2000 security fees once and end of every semester we have to pay semester fee of next semester with 2500 examination fees. Yes, They ask for next some money in one month advance for example in my 3rd sem and our end sem exam have started the 3rd sem on 15 july and the 4th sem will start from 5 january but they have issued notice to pay the fees before 30 November but you can pay the fees later in cash to avoid late fees and at the last moment of time the website will always be down.

For admission, students must have a three-year diploma in the relevant engineering or technology field (with at least 50% or 60% of the possible points, depending on the programme) to be eligible.

Chandigarh University is considered as one of the best universities in India for its studies and placement oppurtunities. The university has been ranked by India Today, The WEEK, NIRF and IIRF with good rankings. It has also received A++ grade from NAAC. In the recent placements, the university registered 9124 Job offers.

Chandigarh University offers MCA General, MCA in Cloud Computing and MCA in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The univesity does not offer MCA in Information Technology.

You can get admission to the Bachelors of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics on the basis of scores on the CUCET entrance examination. The fees for the course can be anywhere between INR 2,13,000 – INR 2,20,000 for the duration of 3 years.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Logistics and Supply Chain Management as the minimum eligibility set requires one to have a bachelor’s degree in any specialization from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

CU offes an M.Sc Medical Lab Sciences course which is a two-year postgraduate program deals with the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours needed to function effectively in complex medical laboratory settings. Admission is granted based on CUCET scores. You must also have a B.Sc MLT degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission.

MBA students of CU are eligible to get scholarships such as CUCET Scholarship, Merit Based Scholarships For Academic Session, Scholarship Scheme For Wards Of Defence Personnel, Sports Based Scholarships/Freeships, etc. Scholarships will be granted only to students who have fulfilled the respective scholarship eligibility criteria.

The registration process for the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) has started for the 2022 – 2024 academic session and the last date to apply for the course is 29th July 2022. You can get admission to the course on the basis of scores of CUCET.
