Automobile Engineering in Chandigarh University

Labs are very much aligned with the syllabus and are full with equipments

Dislikes

75% attendance in core subjects and 90% attendance is mandatory to qualify.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For my course, the academic fee for one semester is rs92000 which includes rs2500 examination fee. for a whole year, it will be rs184000. There is an extra rs10000 paid for training and placement program (TPP) that will prepare for placement drives and only TPP students can sit in drives

A GOOD COLLEGE IN CHANDIGARH

My course fee is 80000 and there is an exam for a scholarship name Cucet by giving that exam you can avail scholarship but you have to maintain a 7.5 CGPA to continue that scholarship. for financial assistance, there is an option for a student loan also.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

When I took admission the fee per semester of engineering was 70000 but now the fee is 80000 for engineering branches if I exclude BE CSE with IBM. So fee increases from time to time and there are nota fix duration like at what time the fee will increases. On average If I talk about engineering then it would cost around 5,60,000 only for the academic fee and 3,25,000 for a hostel for 4 years then by taking all the expenditure into account it goes around 10 lakh for the complete study and stay for engineering courses. Scholarships are provided to either SC or ST students and to those students who got a good rank in CU-CET rank. University also helps in providing financial assistance to the students who can't afford their studies by helping in getting study loans. I haven't got any placement because there is a special fee you have to pay at the end of the 6th semester to sit in the campus placements because I haven't paid any fee so they didn't allow me to sit in the placements. But my friends are placed right now in various companies like Cognizant, Accenture, and many more. The package starts from 4 lakh and goes from 30 to 35 LPA depending on the company. The chances of getting campus placements are more to the students of the CSE branch and Hotel Management.

Semester fee varies for every stream ,I talk here about the fee structure of engineering only.If I don't include the CSE with IBM then most of the streams has a sem fee of around 81000 without any scholarship ,this is the fee for 2021 but it can increase in the near future.CSE with IBM is a specialised stream of CSE that is having collaboration with IBM and is having better job opportunities has a fee of around 105000 per sem.Hostel fee is anually and you have to pay this fee in two installments ,hostel fee is around 78000 and in the first you have to pay around 48000 and rest in the 2nd half of the year.University also assist in getting study loans for students who are not able to pay their fee.If I talk about placements then I can say CSE is the branch that get higher placements every year and Hotel management too but other stream are having less chances for getting placements, because core companies are not coming for other streams say Aerospace, Petroleum and Automobile Engineering maybe in the near future you will get to see the companies but right now the chances are very less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One (Automobile Engineering). There is quite a lot to learn because of various industrial trips, seminars and workshops. University has its own Mahindra and Mahindra workshop and Honda workshop. Approx 1:6/1:8.

Yes, I have applied for the education loan. And to avail this I have asked the university for the loan letter and they have provided me with the loan letter by both online and offline mode. After that, I just followed the guidelines of the bank to get the loan.

Chandigarh University offers loan facility and also scholarship for students. They have a condition for the scholarship that the student needs to maintain marks above 7.5 to continue their scholarship after the e semester or else they have to pay the full free .
