The unseen side of Chandigarh University

The time table is quite hectic like it's pack from 9:30 to 4:25 and it sucks

In 2023 the semester fees was 98000+ 2500 examination fees and there is an online exam CUCET which is held in 3 phase phase one is from January to May and second phase is in June to September and the last phase is October to December and you get scholarship according to your performance in the exam in phase one you get maximum scholarship and it keeps on decreasing in phase 2 and 3 and every year the fee is increased and for hostel in 2023 it as 120000and it also increase every year

The timetable is very hectic. We have back to back classes from 9:30 to 4:20.

I pay 88500 every semester and 2500 for examination fees which has to be paid every semester. There are scholarships given by the university to everyone who gives CUCET test and have to maintain 7.5CGPA in every semester.

Why Choosing Chandigarh University is my best decision?

The curriculum of the courses that the university provide is bench marked with various IIT's and also with various Foreign Universities to provide a wider range of knowledge to its students.

Currently I am persuing BE Biotechnology degree from Chandigarh University under the department of Biotechnology Engineering and Food Technology and I am now in y 3rd year of Bachelors degree. The course fees at the time of admission in back 2022 for me was around 88500 Indian Rupees per semester which i am currently also paying and the university provides you a huge percentage of scholarship based on your CUCET s ore which is an entrance exam of Chandigarh University. I am eligible for a 30 % of scholarship based on my score of CUCET but to maintain this scholarship throughout your graduation degree you have to cross the bar of 7.5 CGPA every year otherwise the scholarship will be removed. The examination fees for each semester is around 2500 Indian Rupees and there is no developmental fees, its same for your entiire Bachelors degree. The fees every year for the freshers increases by a small rate for the 1st year students because of new facilitiies that the university provides.

My college is the best

So , my course fee yearly is 160000, in which our clg provide scholarship test also at the time of admission in which the scholarship will be provided based on the score of the test . If you score more than 50% scholarship will be of 12% etc. I got scholarship of 12% in which i save around 24-30k out of 160000 fees. My course is mechanical engineering and different brances have different fee structure but the scholarship status is same for all students.

We require 90500 per semester including examination fee 2500 which can increase and semester fees also changes with batches. After giving their entrance exam one can get scholarships upto 100% but you have to maintain 7.5 cgpa in every semester to continue.

CU: - from my POV

Chandigarh university provide a wade range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various domains including engineering, law, pharmacy etch.

So, my disciple id BE-Biotechnology. the fee stucture is 90,500 per sem which is preety high for a middle class family but they provide scholarship so it is easy to pay off. Hostel is also available..

The scholarship is provided by the university itself on the basis of the marks you get in the entrance test held by the university itself. You can get scholarship upto 100%. Instead of that the university also provide loan facility.

An insight of CU

Fees are comparatively lower than other universities like LPU. Still, it is worth spending that much money as the facilities provided are good enough. The scholarship provided by CU is through their scholarship test CUCET. There's also scholarship based on merit and defence scholarship.

Honest review

The fee for courses are quite expensive but is affordable. Every year fee structure gets revised and the fee gets raised .however, Chandigarh University provides a lot of scholarship that reduces the tuition fee to a good level. In my case, I got 50% off on the tuition fees due to my 91% marks in the 10+2 standard.

Best college for Biotechnology Students

Prime minister's special scholarship scheme provides me with scholarships in my college to manage my studies and study easier for me to only focus on my studies. A total of 5000 scholarships were given to manage my studies expenses. The fee for the course was 18000 thousand per year. The fees of the course were affordable.
