The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Good campus life with decent academics

Likes

Campus environment is very good and pleasant.
Labs are improved and computers are properly furnished.
South block campus is too good and classrooms are also very good.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Too much diversity i like it .and our college campus is too beautiful.
The cultural programs and fest happened frequently so this makes me happy.

Dislikes

The 75% attendance criteria and the teachers are bit strict for the assignments

Placement Experience:

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Four Years of Growth , Grit and Glory

Likes

Beautiful campus with provided facilities from advanced labs to workshops . High greenery , gardens , parks and grounds.
Friendly and supporting faculties , easy to communicate with the faculties around . People from all around the world , within the country and from out of the country too .
Multiple events ranging from block level to national level events . High exposure with multiple artists or mentors. Security and proper coordination in event adn organisation

Dislikes

Unwanted subjects are added to the academics of no use .
Overpopulation in the univeristy . University never stops their admission which reult into a lot of admissions and there is very less criteria of admission which result into a lot of crowd .
Attendance criteria is very strict and provisions for rectifying the attendance puts a lot of pressure on the faculty as well as the student . One must have an attendance of 75% , even if your attendance ids 74 % yoou will not be elligible for exam

Placement Experience:

In Chandigarh University you are being elligible to sit in the placement from the end of the 6th semester . A large no. of companies visit the unversity daily for all type of departments talking about my department , companies like Zopasmart , JTG , EY , JP Morgan , TCS , Cognizant , Deloite and many other companies came for the college comapnies with ann average comapny selected upto 10 -12 students . Till now the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the role of software developer . Talking about the no. of students placed from the total students in the batch i would say less then 30% percent of the total students have been placed from the university campus placements till now . Curently i am also focusing on the campus placements to get a start to know more about the corporate world , If i am unable to get a campus placement the i ll go for offline interviews and spends 4 to 5 years in the field after that i ll start my own buisness .

great infrastructure in terms of buildings and interiors
The basic facilities around the campus are great. Very neat and systematic

Dislikes

the hierarchy of administration is very strict and sometimes the problems needs time and effort to be resolved

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered and good companies also viist it. I am in third year and I have been intop a few placement drives and it is good. The problem is there are a lot of students, however not many are eligi ble due to the criterias, but still the competition is high. Comapnies even provide decent packages of 7LPA median.

Likes

good infrastructure and good environment.
various opportunities for different students in different fields.

Dislikes

number of student is not fixed too much crowd.
getting placement is hard as there is so much students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was kind of old gen. The syllabus should be updated according to current demand in software market. the frequency of exam were good the difficulty level was fine. it is very neccessary to update the curriculum.

My overall experience in the college has been productive and fully filled
With a mix of strengthen areas that could improve
Academy academically, the faculty member are knowledgeable

Dislikes

Hostel facility need improvement Specially in terms of Wi-Fi speed
A few lab still have a old equipments and computers

The placement opportunity in my my college are quite strong and generally being from the 6 semester when Student become officially eligible for campus requirement, and CGPA must be greater than 7.5 and no back in previous papers

Likes

Really affordable as compared to other universities
Really big campus and good infrastructure hostels are good
There are too many cultural events in collage premises

Dislikes

Hostel food is mid it's just good enough to eat
Too many students which increases competition
There are two mid sem which is too much per semester

Placement Experience:

As per my experience in 5th sem 3rd year, campus placement is really good. Big companies do visit our collage there is option for selecting campus placement if you want and additional fee of 11000 will be charged for training placement program. Mostly companies start to visit from 5th sem onwards for internships. Oracle recently came to our collage for 30lpa I would say 60% students get placed. After degree i would go for placements

For me it's attendance of 75% is required as some teacher is not so good
To much fun that distracts me from study

As I talk to senior I got to know things like this if you want campus placement there are lot of companies and their vacancy but you should have potential and good cgpa for that according to senior and as I was in evening class held my placed senior whose joining is from January 2026 the had got good package like 40lpa

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Likes

Events and opportunities that helped me to grow and learn. hackathons and other events free of cost with certifications.
Huge network of like minded peoples with them you can grow and learn.
Patent filing is easy. Good infrastructure. Strict rules against ragging.

Dislikes

Some subject seems to be useless and waste of time and some that are useful the teacher just teaches us from slides not all but there are some.
I got selected in a fast learner batch they told us that we will be taught some useful skills but they have conducted only 1 class during the whole sem.
The real learning or the guidence is needed in 1st and 2nd year to grow as early as possible but they dont teach the valuable things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
