It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

B.Tech from jmi is value for money, best option for middle class

Likes

Campus life is amazing, and there is very greenary.
Faculties are well qualified with doctorate degree.
Girls to boys ration is good because it is a central university, it offers various courses so it is good

Dislikes

Lack of internship opportunities and less active placement cell
Problem in issuing the NOC for internship if u are getting the internship off campus
Old curriculum and again and again exams.

from 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement companies visited are: Optum, Accenture, HSBC, Zenon, Zia Semiconductor, RSM, Axiom, ZS , HLS, CDOT highest package is 40 LPA which was given by Microsoft in 2018 and highest package currently is 25 lpa on campus average package is 8 lpa currently in cse branch 70 percentage placed right now batch 2025 i want to do job after degree

An Engineering student perspective about JMI

Likes

The first point I like about this college is affordability. You have to pay only 64K for your whole engineering course when other colleges are charging more than 2 lakh per year.
ROI - You can get an average package of 5.5 lpa by spending only 64k for your degree.
If you are interested in researching then you can work with some of the top research professor in the college that will you guide through your whole journey.

Dislikes

Less number of fests - JMI does not organise Big fests and not even large number of cultural fests. There are some technical fest but less number of cultural fests are there.
Canteen food - the canteen food will not up to mark specially when your are vegetarian.
Infrastructure - The college infrastructure can be improved as this college is built around 70s so the infra should be upgraded.

Placement Experience:

Max companies visit campus for placements in final year of you college. Some of the companies visit us for placement are Optum HSBC TCS..... Totka students placed with the package Optum 18 (18lpa) TCS 18 (from cse ) 3.3 lpa , 7.5lpa and 9lpa Highest package - 18lpa Avg package - 5.5lpa Percentage of students getting placed - 75 I will go for marketing.

The Overview of Life a Jamia's Life

Likes

University Campus is very beautiful and well maintained specially it looks very beautiful at evening
Support from non-teaching staffs. Most of the non-teaching staffs were very gentle.
Professors are helpful. You can take help from any professors irrespective of the departments.

Dislikes

Non-cooperation of HOD. Sometimes the HOD doesn't allow for Internships.
Taking fines for unnecessary stuffs, and asking for Affidavit even if you just very little short of attendence.
Taking too much time for official works and going different counters to rectify the mistakes even not done by you.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit on placement from there 7th semester but you can also have pre-placement offers in your 5th semester. Midea made 5 offers, L&T made 13 offers, Yamaha Made 3 offers and more companies are still to visit thsi year. The Highest package is 7.5 lpa offered by Midea and the average is 4.5 lpa. 25% student have been palced till now this year. The average percentage of students getting palced is 67%.

Life in jmi

Likes

The thing that I like the the most is that you can see people from all over India studying and enjoying each others company together.
There is so much unity in diversity in the college no one would be mistreated due to their differences.
The ragging is ban in the college so that no one goes through anything bad.

Dislikes

I personally don't like the interference of delhi police in the college

My course BA English hons is very interesting and the teachers teaching make it even more interesting. The teachers are very helpful towards students. This course let you explore another world of literature.

girls to boys ratio in every year is nearly 50-50. A 50-50 gender ratio creates balance, inclusivity, and fairness.
professors are very friendly, and always helps in the projects personally.
all the faculty of well qualified in there respective fields.

Dislikes

the building's infrastructure can be improved
there is no air condition in the class rooms
the department closes at 5:30pm, students can't work there after 5:30pm

the curriculum focuses on real world design problems, critical thinking and other software skills that are going to be useful in the professional field. but in this era of artificial intelligence, there is no academic upskilling with AI right now. professors are working on incorporating AI with the curriculum and it will soon be incorporated.

My college experience

Likes

The teachers of this college is very good . They are solving problems many times . Interact with students normally
College environment is good, staff paying attention on cleanliness
Teaching methods are good, they explain the topics very well so there is no pressure on students at the time of exams

Dislikes

I didn't like that they are not focusing on cultural activities and sports activities.they organised cultural events very less.
The parking facility is not good as the college is located in delhi, most of the students have their own vehicle ,so they need proper space for parking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like most of the things about my college but there two to three things I don't like about it . As I mentioned earlier cultural events are not good . There is also need an improvement in lab facilities and the teaching methods in lab are not enough.

The infrastructure ,teaching method ,faculty are all good
The quality of social interaction is very good .
The student comming from different part of the country all are well behaving and kind

Dislikes

Thing that i dislike the most is that some classrooms are not well maintained
Other thing is that in summers it is impossible to take class .

The course i will choose is Bsc hons in chemistry because this is my favourite subject No neend to improve course curriculum and teacher method as they have the best staff faculty in this university. Exam is on time

Library, central library is really pretty especially reading hall you can sit there peacefully.
Campus is really pretty , especially gate no 7 with beautiful flower and greenery, we used to sit there
Canteen especially engineering canteen...

Dislikes

Nothing as such , placements needs to improve

College provide placemments they need more work on that, but the things students are more intersted in research and governmeent exam, you will get off campus placement.Many students being placed in reputable companies.

the best part of the jamia is the eco friendly culture
i like the campus life of jamia as each and every person inlucding professors have good nature
i also liked the cateen food with large number of varities including the veg and non veg

Dislikes

the number of seats available in the hostel are less
the quality of food offered is sometimes not good
each and every thing is good about this college

the placemnts of this college are good as lot of companies visits each and every year also the placements depends upon the the skills the perso develops during his/her tenure of the education about more than 80% students get placed and many students go for higher studies

My university have recently achieved rank 3 in central university list which have been declared recently because of infrastructure facilities availability of brilliant staff also good atmosphere diversity of my university shows the secular nation
My university provide an (RCA ) special exam for those students who are preparing for civil services exam if they one cleared this exam he will get privilege like no coaching fee no hostel fees he will b guided by geart teacher totally free
Our university provide a huge opportunity for sports students we have separate Play ground for all sports like cricket football volleyball also with seprate coach provided for each sport which make us feel that we are under huge benefits in low prize

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike in my university but some things in which they have to see like my university conduct exam for bachelors course under cuet and they publish their exam results very late that's something they have to look after serious
My university provide best facilities but there is one problem my university not providing an online submission of fee for course and hostel which create some problem by standing in huge lengthy line which make one feel exhausted in summer look after
Our university provide library surveilence upto 12 night which is good but I think people prepare for any competitive wants to library Full night they have take action for allowing students to study whole night those who wanted to study late night
