Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum provides a strong foundation in legal principles while integrating practical exposure through moot courts, legal aid clinics, and internships. It aligns with Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines, ensuring students are well-prepared for competitive exams and professional practice. While the curriculum covers essential subjects like Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Jurisprudence, there is scope for improvement by incorporating more case studies, interactive learning, and updated courses on emerging legal fields like AI & Law and Environmental Law. Expanding elective options and strengthening legal writing and research training would further enhance students readiness for litigation, corporate law, or academia. The semester-based examination system ensures comprehensive evaluation but could benefit from a more spaced-out schedule. Overall, the program effectively prepares students for diverse legal careers, though modernized teaching methods and curriculum updates could further enhance its relevance.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship culture of the university is really good. The students starts internship from the very first year which helps them to sharpen their legal knowledge into real world scenerios. Students intern at varoius places ranging from law firms as well as chambers of different advocates, government offices to NGOs.

4

There is a dedicated campus placement cell in our college which makes sure that the students who wants to get placed gets the proper opportunity. The students gets placed in top law firms as well as government companies.

The year wise fee a student need to pay after getting admission is around 10,000 Rupees. Once you get admission the fee will be same for the subsequent years. The admission fee is somewhere around 200 rupees. There are no other hidden charges. The other category students also need to pay the same amount of fee.

Campus Life

5

The campus life of our college is top notch. Being the part of a central university it has a really big campus with all the facilities including playgrounds to library. The faculty has its own dedicated library for law students which has any and every book a law students need.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility provided by the university is really good and affordable. The hostel charges are somewhere around 3000 rupees a month. The hostels have 2-3 seater rooms. The meal quality is really good.

Admission

One of the sole reason for which I choose this college over other colleges is it's location. It is located in Delhi which provides me with a lot of exposure and ample amount of opportunities. The other reasons include the colleges reputation and the opportunity it provides. The Professors here are top notch and very helpful in nature.

Faculty

5

The faculty members of the college is top notch. They are really approachable. They are just a call away and you can approach them anytime during the college hours and they are always ready to help. There are a total of 10 semesters and each semester has a gap of around 5-6 months. Exams happen samester wise. It really takes a lot to pass the semesters and you have to study rigorously to score well.

Night Life

4

The college being located in Delhi offers a really good nightlife. The campus itself is a perfect place to chill with friends. The hostel provides gym facilities and has cafeterias where students can chill.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My father chose Law for me and he was influenced from the general mass that was opting law at that time. The curriculum of law is arbitrary, it is very far from how courts work and operate, the real life experince is hardly taught and the real courts and law can only be understood through internships and practice. There should be real practicing lawyer teaching the working of courts at least once a week or twice a month to prepare the students for what they are going to face in courts and companies. The exams were Moderate in difficulty.

Placement Experience:

At IIMT School of Law placements are better than many law colleges. Last year only around 60-65% students were placed and even though salary offered was quite less but atleast getting direct jobs itself is a huge achievement when number of law students and law colleges are increasing by the day.

At VIPS law placements are quite sorted as in Delhi most chambers have made it a point that their first preference will always be students who have studied in Delhi. This gives VIPs a very big advantage as in private colleges ours is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive in my opinion as it offers me the openness to experience for the course I am currently pursuing. The course offers seven subjects. The subjects changes by semester system. Each semester offers different subjects, therefore, the scope of boredom will not arise. moreover, it will provide knowledge on every topic in depth. I do not found any disadvantage of this course.
