My college life in a nutshell

Likes

I really liked the faculty for BBA either in any specific field or in general. Highly recommended if you scored good marks in your boards and want to get good marks in your UG as well.
Infrastructure is well maintained and always cleaned. Excellent college to get enrolled in because of the huge college campus. Many sports complexes are already being renovated such as tennis court, basketball court, football court, badminton court.
Many societies are formed to perform co curriculum activities such as cultural society for theatre , dance society, singing groups and many more.

Dislikes

There’s more nothing that i don’t like about my college but the timings. The college starts at 8am for the morning shift students and at 11am for evening shift students. Its similar of the schools.
Second thing is the attendance. It requires 75% attendance to sit in the exams. Which i never get in any of the semester in my whole college life.
The worst part Parents teacher meetings. Yes this college is not less of a school in strictness. PTM are held to discuss the students performance and reasons for their low attendance. Afterwards feedback forms were filled by the students to justify.

Placement scenario of the college, highest and average package being offered

Campus requirements is done in the last semester of the course you are perusing. Placement cell will sent you mails and even add you in the college placement cell WhatsApp group to get regular updates over your mobile plones. Moreover placement cell do have its own app on which you can log in via your official email id provided by the placement cell and get details about any job opportunities on the app. Many recruiters approachs the students as the college is more full with high IQ students. Highest Yearly package is more than 50 lacks. And average is 20 lacks

Almost all interested, students are Well, placed through campus recruitment in well known companies Many well paid companies approaches the college to get the best potential employees. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Adobe Tata Birla Johnson, and Johnson, Mahindra, and many more.

Many Cultural and technical fests are organised including Anoogunj the cultural fest of GGSIPU and GENESIS the cultural fest of MSI AVENSIS the technical fest inside msit. The college have its own well equipped Auditorium which many college doesn't have. Many extra curriculum activities are organised by the college to encourage students getting involved in brain development activities. Many societies are formed in which students can get into.

Tution fee is quite affordable as it is affiliated to state governments of delhi. Even middle class families can afford to get their child enrolled for the course. The complete cost of education for BBA is around 1,000000 including tution fee, service fees and other compulsory charges. Hostel accommodation is available inside the college premises for the migrants. Many scholarships can be availed such as merit cum means scholarship, scholarships for daily scholars, scholarships for students belong to any other caste Sc/St/Obc. Fees reimbursement is available for such students. College have a Placement cell which guides the students for getting places on highly qualified jobs. Placement cell encourages students to get participate in the hiring process getting their interview done and get good payroll after getting hired.

I was guided by the faculty to get enrolled for BBA. Mentoring is important for examining the input and output of as it can be considered as process evolution. The approach to teaching is preparing the students ready to deal in the outside world. By learning ethics and norms. Being a good human in the world. The authority needs to focus more on the equipment for better learning and understanding. Such as smart classroom must be prepared for the students. Exam patterns is highly efficient difficulty level is medium to high. Good marks can be achieved if you take the classes regularly.

Students view on faculties and their teaching methods

The faculty to students ratio is really very good. Teachers can really look upon its students very carefully. As all the teachers are highly educated completed their degrees from highly prestigious universities not only in India but outside. The faculty's credentials and their approach to teaching and mentoring is highly appreciated. Teachers not only focus on giving lectures in the class but also take assignments and presentations to make a healthy learning environment.

How to get admission in the college?

All the students given their 12th class boards can apply for the CET an entrance examination to get admission in any course. It is a qualifying exam having multiple choices questions. Each question contain 3marks and -1mark for each wrong answer. Applications are accepted online on the official website of Guru gobind singh indraprastha University. Exam is of 180 minutes and difficulty level is easy to medium. It is qualifying in nature so that any student can attempt the exams no matter which stream he had in his 12th boards exams. GGSIPU should limit the number of applications it accepted for the CET exam

other colleges i applied to 1. vivekananda institue of professional studies 2. maharaja agrasen 3. delhi skill and entrepreneurship university i got confirmed in 1 and 3, while 2 didnt work out due to higher cut off the reason i chose my college was- location advantage, faculty reputation, placement track record admission process of my college was- eligibility- minimum 50-60% marks in 12th and rank should be under 1500 in CET preferred exam by students is mainly CET and CUET for MSIT cutoffs are usually high

I chose this college as it is face of IPU . Very good placement rate for bba as compared to other colleges . I applied to DU through Cuet. I got into it but Study Wise DU lecturers are busy with events more than lectures

Likes

The library have some really good collection of referance books along with literature. The campus isn't really big yet the surroundings are quiet pleasant.
The campus isn't really big yet spacious and their are nice cafes and food outlets around the college.

Admission:

The college is affiliated by the university I chose to get into but couldn't. Therefore it's a best college to choose after the university because of the versatility of teaching staff, the resources for education and the efforts of the college to maintain trust in it's students.

Supporting seniors with a motive to help everyone.
The crowd of the college is very ambitious

Dislikes

The canteen of the college isn't a very good place to hang around
The infrastructure is also a very old construction

Admission:

This college is ranked as the 1st in the IP universities. The placement rate they display is impressive and eye catchy, Ofcourse this wasn't my first preference but I scored a good rank and got admission in the very first round.

Elevator is slow and there could be crowd when using the elevator

The adkission process was all online you have to put up ur prefernce on the portal you can check youtube channels for that. I did not get du and this is expensive as i could have saved a lot of money but if ur aiming for higher studies u should go for du to dave money but i came here to know about people college life and also bcs i had this as my best option near to my home and affordable and gentry obviously.

The playground is also huge, the library and book bank has all the necessary books
I like that our college is located at a good location with shops and cafe available nearby.

Dislikes

The college does not fully support cultural activities.
The societies and clubs are mostly dormant.
Despite having a good playground, sports events are rarely organised.

Admission:

I chose this college as at the time it was the number 1 college in Delhi for bca according to ratings, the strong point was placement, the idea of getting placed through college while pursuing the degree is what attracted me to this college, I believed btech was too hard for me and bsc was not giving placements, so I opted for the option in the middle.

Everyone is very interactive here they all seem lovely and teachers here are also good .
Their infrastructure is somewhat old fashioned but I like that way of design it gives a prestigious experienced college vibe.

Dislikes

That it does not have a very big campus than compared with other big colleges
That the windows are broken in many classroom and the ACs are not working properly in many classroom.

Admission:

I firstly wanted to go to DU(Delhi University) through cuet but I didn't got the marks needed for cutoff of colleges there so and also I didn't get college from bhu so after then I opted for counseling in ipu and I got this college and I was also given option to attend maharaja Agrasen but I choose this as it's bba course is much better here than their and Agrasen has bigger area and better infrastructure than surajmal but I choose this for its good teachings in bba. Eligibility here is to give cuet exam or cet exam and get through counseling based on your marks .
