Jamia Milia Islamia BA (Hons) admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply is March 30, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @jmicoe.in. The application fee is INR 770. Admission to the BA (Hons) program at Jamia Milia Islamia will be based on scores obtained in the JMI entrance test followed by counseling conducted by the university. Jamia Milia Islamia offers the BA program for three years duration. The course has been divided into 6 semesters. There are 13 specializations provided under the BA program. They are Computer Science, Political Science, Hindi, Economics, English, History, Islamic Studies, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Turkish Language and Literature, Urdu, and Geography. - I liked the infrastructure of the college, Environment And Specially The Teachers Who Are Very Helpful.
- College is in a very good location just in between two metro stations so it's too easy to go there.

- Nothing more that I can dislike, but still politics in this university is one thing I don't liked.
- There is only one ground for playing sports that's also a minus point.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is primarily focused on the UPSC Examination Patterns so that can be helpful to the students who were willing to get in the civil services. They would have provided us the weekly test on the same pattern of UPSC. So that would have been beneficial for us Timing of exam and classes are perfectly balanced. So that every student can be comfortable with that

- The top courses of Jamia like Ballb, mass communication, B.Tech and history and all masters courses are very very good . The management of university is good
- The campus life of jamia is next level you can't find it in any other places. The campus is very beautiful and vast. Libraries are good. Totally the culture of jamia is most adorable thing i observed here
Dislikes
- In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
- In jamia there is always protest for any thing happened in the whole country. But nowadays administration doesn't allow students to protest. In the main gate you always find crps. This things feel us like we are not in univers we are in border of our
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to be à civil servant. But to attend Upsc you have to be a graduate. So normally I have to graduate from any subject. So I thought why I am not pursuing graduation in that subject or courses by completing I can be able to earn something and support my family. This was the main reason for choosing this course. Language is good in Jamia but there are also many improvements like teacher teaching quality, semester time, etc.
Likes
- One of the best thing which I liked here is the study environment, which is so good. Students are goal oriented, well guided by the professors.
- Infrastructure is also pretty decent here. One can found so many different type of buildings here
Dislikes
- Less ECA activities is one of the thing I dislike here, except some clubs, Jamia do not have much ECA exposure.
- Placement opportunities are also not great here.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am in history dept, so I found the curriculum pretty good for history enthusiasts, it is well framed by the department professors. I believe the curriculum prepares us for real-world application in pretty good manner it teaches us innovative ideas which cannot be learn from reading books. But still there is scope for improvement, such as sometimes I felt syllabus is quite outdated so it needs some upgradation. Frequency and timing of exams are well planned which do not lad the student with burden. It makes the process less hectic. The difficulty level varies from paper to paper and also professor to professor, so sometimes it is possible that one may get easy paper but sometimes difficult too.

- Courses there are lots of courses that are provided by the institution u can take admission according to your convenience.
Dislikes
- I don't like the delaying exams pattern of the institution
- They delayed the exams usually in the correspondence courses.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am working that's why I have chosen distance mode course .it is so convenient as we just have to give exams annually. And we have to submit assignments annually which consists of 30 marks per subject. It provides very comprehensive books to students which helps in learning. The area where it can be improved is that there should be proper schedule of exams and course there should be no delays of exams and assignments. Papers are moderate to difficult level .one should check the difficulty level by going through the pyqs .

The Concept Of CBCS is Awesome In my Course in this We Can Choose Any Subject of Our likes Other than our Core subjects and after Every Semester We Are Again provided With the options Of Subjects which we can choose and learn.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
Jamia is a Central Government University thats why the frees are feasible. The fee structure is vary from course to courss like my annual college fee is 7200. And it includes everything like lab charge, library charge, examination charge, sports charge. And if we talk about its hostel its approx 2500 per month.
