Likes

Library of our college is quite peaceful
Seminar hall is also quite nice as compared to others

Dislikes

Toilets required more attention towards cleanliness
Labs has no facilities for the students even during our practicals
Auditorium required a huge space as compared to the present one

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum effectively covered the core concepts of Life Sciences and their practical applications The difficulty level of the exams is quite average but it also depends on each and every student who has their own experience

Internships Opportunities

There are some internship opportunities that are provided by our professors but in very low count They gave us projects according to our course and then you have to make a full report for that project

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year I've paid 8000 yr In second year it was 10000yr Ans In third year it was 16000yr Fees of my batchmates for categories other than mine like sc/st/obc is quite different as mine I don't think so that our college provide any scholarships or financial aid

Campus Life

My overall experience is good with this college They conduct so many fests every year Our college library has good facilities as the range and accessibility of books and journals are quite huge enough

Admission

As I had applied for cuet exam after in which there were 3 slots for college selection I got this college in third selection In first 2 slections I got 2 colleges which were too far from my location and this was last slot for me so I have to choose this college

Faculty

Faculties of our college is good All the teachers and professors are very helpful Professors of science faculties are great they helped me alot during my exams and practicals as well There are total 7 subjects including GE/DSE , Sec,Vac,Aec Difficulty level of our exams is quite average

Night Life

The area around our college is quite different than others as it looks like a posh area surrounded by police and army officers and their vehicles Lodhi road is totally safe to roam around at night There are few famous places like Lodhi Garden, Sunder Nursery and so on

The Dreams of many - Hindu college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I choose this course is my inclination towards maths, Maths used to be my favourite subject in school also. Also, there are ample amount of career options after graduation in mathematics, like IIT JAM for masters, placements, Govt exams etc. The student-faculty ratio in our course is about 1:90. This is highest in college because of over admission in the course this year. That is why our class has been divided into two sections of 90 students each. This ratio really needs to be improved. The professors are well qualified, they have a minimum experience of 10 years in this field. Talking about the teaching method, it is overall good, they teach you in the simplest way making it easy to understand for every student, One can freely ask their doubts from teachers. We have a semester exam every 6 months. The question paper is set up by Delhi University, and the level remains easy to an average level. One who has studied half of the syllabus will also be able to pass the exam.

This is college comes under Delhi University, one of the finest colleges for graduation in India. The thing that I like the most is that it gives you so many opportunities in many fields like sports, art, fest, events etc. You feel vying with the intellectual crowd. I chose Bsc since I had biology in 12th class and this course provides you many options after graduation.

During my application process, CUET was introduced and there were so many confusions at the moment and I think somewhere I didn't fill my preference sheet well. I didn't want Dyal singh for sure, but I think it was written in my fate to be here and I a here now so I am utilising the good parts of the college as much as I can. Dyal Singh College Review

I wanted to apply to Delhi university and you had to appear in CUET. The course eligibility included subjects such as accountancy, English, maths and economics. No cutoffs were released before appearing for the test and even before filling out preference sheet for colleges. Application form was available on the official website of CUET.
