NCWEB PG Admission Process (M.A. / M.Sc.)

PG admission is entrance-based through CUET (PG).

Step-by-Step Process:

  • Appear for CUET (PG) 2026: After the results, register on the DU PG Portal and fill out the CSAS-PG form. Must select NCWEB as a preference.
  • Seat Allotment: The University of Delhi Admission Branch releases the NCWEB PG seat allotment in multiple rounds based on the candidate's CUET PG 2026 score, category, and seat availability.
  • Document Verification: The Nodal Officer verifies the documents uploaded by the candidate on the admission portal.

NCWEB Admission 2026 FAQs

Ques. Can I change my NCWEB teaching centre after admission?

Ans. No, mostly you cannot change the centre after admission. Once you select the centre and pay the fees, it is fixed. Many student do mistake here. So choose a centre near your home carefully. If you select the far centre, then the travelling problem will come every weekend, and it becomes very tiring.

Ques. What happens if I don’t attend classes regularly in NCWEB?

Ans. If you do not attend classes properly, a big problem can happen. You need around 66–67% attendance to give the exam. If attendance is low, the college may not allow you in exam. In some cases, they give a chance, but not always. So don’t ignore classes, thinking it is an easy system.

Ques. Can I prepare for government exams with NCWEB easily?

Ans. Yes, this is one big advantage of NCWEB. You get full weekdays free, so many students prepare for UPSC, SSC, banking, etc. But it depends on your discipline. If you waste time, then no benefit. NCWEB only give time; success depends on how you use that time properly.

Ques. Is NCWEB difficult or easy compared to regular DU?

Ans. The course and exam are the same as regular DU, so the difficulty level is also the same. The difference is that you get fewer classes, so you have to study more by yourself. Many students think it is easy, but actually self study make it a little harder if you are not serious.

Ques. Do NCWEB students get an ID card and college facilities?

Ans. Yes, you get a DU ID card and can use some facilities like the library in your centre. But access is limited because classes are only on weekends. You will not get full-time campus access like regular students, so the overall college experience is less compared to other DU colleges.

Ques. Why was NCWEB started?

Ans. NCWEB was started in 1943 to help women who could not attend regular college due to family responsibilities, household work, jobs, financial constraints, or other personal reasons. It began with just 3 students and has since grown to support more than 31,000 women learners.
