DUDelhi University (DU)Result Revaluation Process 2024
Unsatisfied students with their results can apply for the revaluation. Application forms will be accepted for the theory papers of non-professional courses (which have not jointly valued). All the applications must reach within the 2 weeks of result declaration. Students filling the form are advised to fill the form properly as no second form or incomplete form will be accepted.
Students need to send the application form with the photocopy of the admission ticket and statement of marks attached to the self-address plain envelope of size 9”x4”. The application fee is INR 1000/- per paper needs to be deposited on the Revaluation Cell counter 1. All the details are verified by the College Principal.
In the revaluation, there can be no change, an increase in marks, or decrease in marks. If there is a change of 5% in revaluation from the original then the original marks will stand. In case there is a change in between 5% - 10% per cent then the average of both will be taken. In case there is a change of more than 10% then the paper will be evaluated and the average of the nearest two will be awarded.

Students can also go for a rechecking option. For this, they have to submit the application form along with the copy of the admission ticket and current statement of marks wrapped in an envelope of 9”x4” size having self-address written on it with a postal stamp of worth INR. 5/- affixed. All the applications must reach within 2 weeks of result declaration. The application fee for rechecking is INR. 750/- per paper.

In the year 2021, DU had set a new record by announcing the results of more than 73,000 undergraduate students within 30 days. The university declares its results on its official website @du.ac.in. Ans. For candidates to be eligible for the next year/semester of a course at DU, they must attain a certain percentage of marks. The minimum marks at DU that is required to pass any paper is 40% in theory and 40% in practical, wherever applicable. At the same time, the student must secure 40% in the end semester examination and 40% in the total of the end semester examination & internal assessment for both theory & practical separately.

Ans. Exams at Delhi University are often not tough, but are of moderate level. Most of the time DU semester exams include repeated questions. These questions are either the same or have a similar pattern. When students study the repeated questions, they are sure to pass with good marks. However, to secure full marks, students will have to study all the topics and stay focused.

Ans. Students at Delhi University will be graded from 0 to 10 and also given specific grades. When students secure 80-100% marks, they are given grade 'O' which is equivalent to 10 numerical points. And if students score less than 40% marks, they are given an 'F' grade which is equivalent to 0 numerical points. 'F' is a failing grade and students will have to reappear for the exams in which they've failed.
