What Students Say
Likes
- the fees is low so its affordable and even manageable by student alone
- the location is very good and the near by places is really nice
- the exposure due to being a part Delhi university is really good considering cultural and corporate aspects
Dislikes
- the college is not very vast area wise so on a busy day its too crowdy
- there is a very strict attendance policy and the consequences are harsh too they even give sem back for just 4-5% less attendance
- they dont support for interships and jobs as they dont provide attendance or educational support
Course Curriculum Overview
i wanted to go for a management specific career so i choosed the course and academically its god but real world exposure is kind of low as they don't support for internships so that doesnt makes one ready for real word corporate
Placement Experience
mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees for BMS at Aryabhatta college is around 33,600 per year it cover tution development chareges exam fees and ohe basic stuff . over 3 years it adds up 1,01,000 . compared to private colleges offering the same course its quite affordable there hasnt been any major fees hike recently either as far as i know most of my batchmate pays the same fees regardless of their category there are few scholarship like merit cum need under delhi university but they are not promoted much and very few student actual get them overall the fees are decent and manageable for most students
Campus Life
there are mutiple events in the college first are societies annual events and then there is the college annual event , the library is nice and vast with most of the course book available so its anice thing , technology wise it nice and good with smart boards and all sports is good yet expesive as college never reimburst the money back or take too long
Admission
I was targeting sscbs from the beginning. I missed its cutoff by 8 marks, so I accepted my admission here, both were accepting applications from cuet, so my overall admission was fine, and I took admission here because of the preference sheet listing
Faculty
most of the new faculty are really nice but the old faculty or the tic's of some courses are really rude or unhelpfull in places they can really help a person , and there is also a shortage of faculty according to the NEP as my own coding teacher didnt know coding which is not his fault but the managements as they just handed him the subject for the sem instead of hiring a actual coding person . most of the teachers are good overall except some but those some makes a big differance as they are the oone holding power and ae the tic particularly in the BMS course on my experince
Night Life
the gym is nice with no much but good equipments thats good but the timings for gym is not nice as the last time to workout is set at 9 am and our first class is at 8;30 am so mostly gym is unused by students and the timings makes no sense with the classes , there is no time restriction like 8 am to 6pm is well and good without an issue for cumpus and satya neiketan is nearby so thats a good spot and apart from that i donnt roam at night there as my pg is in lajpat but what i have heard its nice at night
