Students are eligible for campus placements after Sem 5. Morgan Stanley, fourth signal, Citi group are some companies that hire students from this college. The highest I estimate is 50,000 INR that's would be offered and the lowest would be 6000 INR. But 30% of students get placements overall. I plan to avail campus placements after earning my degree

My early interest in marketing and management influenced me to choose the BMS course. This course has helped me a lot to prepare for the outside world as well as helping me in my earlier internships and the way of doing proper marketing and corporate life. In my opinion, the course does not need any improvements as it is very well-understood the course. The exams are set on an average level and are suitable.

There are total 3 faculty members and as there's a saying all 5 fingers are not the same. It goes same here, I can say few members do behave ethically and they are rational while making decisions in relation to students internal marks and helping them perform better. While few faculty members keep grudges and sometimes even don't listen to what students has to say. Although they teach very well and also solve doubts in classroom itself. All members are highly qualified. Faculty's mentorship is exceptional and they might have guided me for a good career. I have interacted with faculty very frequently and I can surely say that some faculty do their best to solve problems of students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Each year their is an increase in fees by approximately 10% and it can be paid in instalments and all other modes of payments are available. This course is not financial friendly because it cost around 30k for a term and normally not all people can afford it . As it not financially aided by government like b.com or b.sc this course fee structure tends to be more than any normal courses and the fees structure can differ varying upon college. They do have scholarship for that you will be informed or have to inquire .

Internships Opportunities:

As said i have not completed my studies and have not yet got any internship opportunities. But i hope in last year i get intership which would be helpful for my upcoming career. Ques. Which is the best college for BMS in Mumbai among HR colleges- NM College, Mithibai College, HR College, or Jai Hind College?

● Top Answer By Subham Joshi on 19 Jan 21

Ans. There are a lot of factors which should be kept in mind while opting for either of the colleges. Some of such factors are mentioned below.  Attendance-   For attendance, HR is way more lenient than NM College. If you have a valid reason for low attendance such as preparation of CR, then you might be exempted.  However, this doesn't work in NM college, they are extremely strict about their attendance. Distance- If you are a resident of Mumbai then you should consider the distance of the college from your home. It is an important factor to consider, and saves a lot of time and money. Focus area-   If your goal is holistic development i.e. curriculum studies plus co-curricular activities, then NM college is the preferred choice.  HR is close to NM in this race. But NM provides a wider exposure owing to its central location of the college, surrounded by various other universities. Let’s take a look at the advantages of all the above-mentioned colleges in a tabular form below. Parameters NM College HR College Jai Hind College Mithibai College Placement rate (2020) 100% 70%-80% 65% 50% Average salary package (2020) 17.58 LPA 2 LPA >2.5 LPA and <5 LPA 4 LPA – 5 LPA Community- Often this factor is excluded while selecting a college, but this factor is as important as any of the above-mentioned factors. Although, if you have good people skills, you don’t need to consider it. But if you need a community then, in NM you will be surrounded by Gurjatis and in HR by Sindhis. Infrastructure-   NM College is up-to-date with its infrastructure regardless of the fact that it is one of the oldest and well-known colleges in Mumbai.  HR College is outdated, not maintained, in terms of infrastructure. Cost- If you are not a resident of Mumbai, South Mumbai is expensive in comparison to West Mumbai.  Thus, keeping the above analysis in mind, NM College is the best out of the four colleges.Read more

Ques. What are the salary packages after a BMS from DU?

● Top Answer By Pooja Rampal on 06 Oct 22

Ans. The colleges that will offer Bachelors with honors courses in management studies have finally been identified by Delhi University. The course is offered by six colleges in total: Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, College of Vocational Studies, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Maharaja Agrasen College, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. The new course was implemented following the discontinuation of the BBE, BBS, and BFIF courses. These courses were extremely popular, and nearly all of the students were placed. There were 891 seats available across all three courses. The introduction of the BMS course has reduced the number by 51, which has enraged many applicants.  Keshav Mahavidyalaya is an off-campus college that is one of Delhi University's youngest and fastest growing, it has also provided exceptional placements for BMS. Top companies such as AT Kearney, S&P CapIQ, CEB, SmartCube, McKinsey Knowledge Center, Google, Grail Research , and others have recruited students from the college in recent years. The Department of Management Studies has a strong alumni network that provides students with numerous opportunities. Thus, well-deserving BMS students from KMV can easily get campus placement, and the average package is around 4.5-5 Lakhs, with the highest offered in the previous year being 9.5 Lakhs.Read more
