Students also ask

Ques. Can I change course after admission in rajguru college DU first year?

Ans. No, changing course after admission is very difficult. DU mostly does not allow a course change after final seat allotment. The only option is to upgrade in CSAS rounds if a seat is available. So choose the course very carefully during preference filling. Once admission is confirmed, you usually have to continue the same course for the full 3 years.

Ques. How is the attendance rule in Rajguru College?

Ans. Yes, the attendance rule is strict in this college. The DU rule requires a minimum 67% attendance. If attendance is low, students may not be allowed to take the exam, or internal marks can be reduced. Some teachers also check regularly. So, better attend classes daily, otherwise a problem can happen in the final semester.

SRCASW DU Admission 2026

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women gives admission to UG courses through CUET scores. Students must apply through the Delhi University CSAS portal. Below is the simple step-by-step Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women admission process for 2026:

UG Eligibility

  • Students must pass Class 12 from a recognised board.
  • Some courses require specific subjects in Class 12 (like Maths or Science).
  • Reserved category students get relaxation as per DU rules.
  • CUET-UG exam is compulsory for admission.

Mode of Selection

  • Admission is fully entrance-based.
  • Selection depends on CUET UG (for UG courses).
  • Final seat allotment is done through DU CSAS counselling.
  • There is no direct admission; it depends only on CUET marks.

DU CSAS Application Fee

Category Application Fee
UR / OBC-NCL / EWS INR 250
SC / ST / PwBD INR 100

Admission Process (Step-by-Step)

1. Appear for CUET UG / PG

Students must give the CUET exam with correct subjects. Without CUET, admission is not possible.

2. Register on DU CSAS Portal

After CUET result, register on DU CSAS portal, fill details, and pay the application fee.

3. Fill Course & College Preferences

Select Shaheed Rajguru College and courses in correct order. Preference matters for seat allotment.

4. Seat Allotment

Seat is given based on CUET score and cutoff. Cutoff changes every round.

5. Upload Documents

Students must upload all required documents. Wrong or missing documents can lead to rejection.

6. Pay Admission Fees

After verification, pay fees on time to confirm the seat. Delay can cancel admission.

7. Report to College

Students need to visit the college for document verification and then classes start.

Important Note

  • Admission is done only through CUET + CSAS system.
  • Students must choose correct subjects in CUET based on their course.

Students also ask

Ques. Can I get Rajguru College with a low CUET score in the later admission rounds du?

Ans. Yes, possible, but depend on the course and cutoff trend. In later rounds cutoff usually goes down a little bit, so the chance improves. But for top courses like psychology or computer science, still high marks are needed. Safe score is always better. Also, preference filling is very important, wrong choice can reduce the chance of getting a seat.

Ques. Should I choose subjects carefully in CUET for rajguru college admission process du?

Ans. Yes, very important, many students make mistakes here. CUET subject must match the course requirement, like maths for computer science. If the subject is not correct, admission can be rejected even with a good score. So, check DU eligibility rules properly before the exam. A small mistake here can create a big problem later in the admission process.

SRCASW DU Cutoff 2026

Admissions to BBA, BMS, B.Sc and BA courses through CUET are based on the Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women cutoff each year.

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, CUET UG Cutoff 2025

The 2025 cutoff at Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women shows high competition in top courses like BA (Hons.) Psychology (785–759), Statistics (656–655), and Computer Science (599–549). Mid-level courses include Biochemistry (557–503) and Mathematics (533–431), while lower cutoffs are seen in Physics (317–212), Electronics (298–196), and Instrumentation (241–174).

Students also ask

Ques. Can I get Rajguru College with a 500 CUET score for any course in DU?

Ans. Yes possible for some courses but not all. For top courses like psychology (759–785) and statistics (655+), 500 is not enough. But courses like mathematics (431), microbiology (485), or chemistry (242) can be possible. It depends on the round and category, also. Always try to fill in as many preferences as possible to increase chances.

Ques. Should I wait for the last round if the cutoff is high in the first round at Rajguru College?

Ans. Yes, waiting can help because the cutoff usually decreases in later rounds. Many course drop marks like computer science (599 to 549). But not guarantee seat because competition is still high. If you get a decent course in the early rounds, think carefully before upgrading, otherwise risk it also in later rounds.

Students also ask

Ques. Can I get a good placement from Rajguru College without doing extra skills or internships in college?

Ans. No, only college placement is not enough, mostly. Placement cell help but competition is high, and only a few students get placed (31 in 2025). If a student does not build extra skills like Excel, coding, and communication, then chance very low. Internship very important. Without skills, the package is also low, around 3.5 LPA median.

Ques. Is Rajguru College placement good or average compared to other DU colleges overall?

Ans. Placement is average, not top-level in DU. Median package around 3.5 LPA, and limited students placed. Some year better, like 5 LPA median earlier, but not consistent. Good companies come, but not for all students. So, it depends more on student effort than the college placement system, mostly.

SRCASW DU FAQs

Ques. Can I get hostel facility inside Rajguru College for staying during my full course duration?

Ans. No, college does not have a proper hostel on campus. Many students stay in PG or rented rooms near the college area. College sometimes helps to find nearby stay but does not guarantee it. So if coming from another city, better to plan accommodation early. Delhi rent little high, so the budget should also be kept in mind before admission.

Ques. Can I do part time job with study in rajguru college without affecting the attendance rule?

Ans. It is possible, but a little difficult. The attendance rule is strict, with around 67%, so daily classes are important. If doing a job, timing manage properly otherwise attendance shortage problem arises. Some students do online work or a weekend job. The study should be the first priority because low attendance can affect exam and internal marks also.

Ques. Can I prepare for the government exam along with college study in rajguru college easily?

Ans. Yes, many students do this. College timing is normal, so you get time for preparation. But need good time management. Courses like B.Sc or BMS need regular study also. If you ignore the college subject, then your marks will go low. So, balance both things properly. Many students prepare for SSC, banking or UPSC with college.

Ques. Can I get good exposure in Rajguru College, like the fest, society and events participation?

Ans. Yes college have many societies like dance, drama, music and technical groups. Students can join and take part in the fest and competitions. This helps in confidence and skill improvement. Not only studying, but college life is also active. Participation depends on student interest; colleges give opportunity but students need to join actively.

Ques. Can I upgrade my seat in the next round after getting admission in Rajguru College, DU?

Ans. Yes upgrade option is available in the DU CSAS process. If a better course or college is available, you can upgrade in the next round. But risk is also there sometimes a seat is lost if not careful. So choose wisely. If satisfied with the current course, then the freeze option is better to avoid any problem in later rounds.

I choose Cha Raju College of applied science over other colleges applied science because it offered the best balance of academic relevant and structure, curriculum and career oriented exposes, specially for my choosing program electronics honours dude, my college, dude, I choose my college due to its applied science focus, well design, construct and emphasis on both theoretical clarity and practical learning. The faculty supportive. The curriculum is aligned with university standards and the college environment encourage discipline Academy consistency and skill development. All girls also provide a safe and confident learning space which helps participate actively in academics and Extra curricular activities by Maharaja Agrasen College as a discipline Academy environment. Its core structure was more traditional with limited focus on applied learning and spectacle exposure. The curriculum did not align as closely with my long-term goals in electronics and technical oriented field which made a secondary option for me. Venkateshwar College is repetitive and competitive with strong academics and infrastructure. However, due to high cut-off competition, I was unable to secure admission. This may have been due to Katta limitation or Meri or CUT score based selection criteria rather than a lack of interest.

My first preference was Shaheed Sukhdev because it is the best known college for BMS course, considering the placements, exposure, reputation, etc. However I did not make it there, I couldn't clear the cutoff by a couple questions. The competition for this college is very severe. My second choice was the college I am currently in, Shaheed Rajguru and I got into it in the very first list of DU. I chose it because it has a great NIRF rank, is well known for its good faculty and academics, has a good reputation. It is an off campus girls college so it lacks exposure.I gave academics a higher preference and that's why I chose this one. My further choices were Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, and College of Vocational Studies but since I got my 2nd preference in the first list itself, I didnt have to choose between them. They too are very good college for the same course. Talking about the exam process now, We had to sit for CUET UG. BMS at Delhi University particularly requires 3 subjects, English, General Test and Maths. The combined score of these 3 is then considered during the merit lists. You are also alloted course-wise ranks during the result process of CUET. My score was 500 for this and the cutoff for Shaheed Sukhdev was 550. The admission process was easy and there were around 3-4 merit lists released in total, plus a spot round.

You need to fill in the application form available at Shaheed Rajguru College for a hostel and have to submit it to the college. The first priority is given to the students who live at a distance and belong to first year.
