EPGCOM is one of the best certification courses offered by IIM Kozhikode. If you’ve worked for a while in the operations domain, and wish to climb the ladder in your company, this is an ideal course for you. It demands a fundamental understanding of operations, and is not meant for freshers or professionals with zero experience in this domain. Moreover, the course does not offer any placement assistance. IIM Kozhikode does not offer any specialization degree. It offers a General Management or PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management). This is somewhat equivalent to an MBA. You may choose these on the basis of your interests and the career you wish to pursue. The campus is very beautiful. It is there amongst the hills and gives a very pleasant feel.
Connect with different people with vivid background gives a reason to connect to all the batchmates in a very positive manner.

Dislikes

Faculties are not good in wholesome. They are very rigid.
The management of iim doesn’t understand basic problems a person can have in their lives. It becomes very difficult because of unforeseen circumstances which are never addressed on time

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees in the college is 14,00,000 and it is yearly increasing. The next batch is paying 16,00,000 and it has increased for the current year as well. Also there is an additional cost associated to travel for campus emmersuon program and even lodging and flight charges.

Hostel allocation is random and some people get better rooms than others

SC and ST are eligible for scholarships if their family income is below a pre-determined level. The academic office helps students get scholarships. Most students have taken education loans. Some have earned scholarships from their respective state governments.

Campus Life is good as I got to engage in different activities like sports, cultural fests and much more. I have met some really good people as well.

Placements were bad due to Market conditions.

The fee for 2 years is 21,00,000 which includes hostel and tuition fees. Scholarships are offered to students from EWS, SC, ST, and OBC category students through various government initiatives and CSR policies of large corporations. The campus also offers summer placement and final placement opportunities to all students. More than 100 companies visit the campus each year to offer roles in multiple domains.

Because of greenery you can find many insects and other animals.

The fee is high in comparison to other IIMs but if we compare it with similar colleges like old IIMs then it lies in average. I don't yet about the scholarships but maybe there are some but you have to meet some criteria like parental income.

campus, It is the most beautiful campus and most probably most beautiful in the asia.
faculty, they are very professional and are always there for you, supportive.

there is no attached washroom in single shared rooms which is just not acceptable.
since campus is too big, walking distance becomes quite large due to this

overall fees in the PGP program is 20.5 lakh, the fee structure is given in the official IIM Kozhikode website. Scholarships are available some of them are merit-based and some of them are the financial background of the candidate.

Campus infrastructure and location is very good
Placement is 100% of the batch with good package

Location of the college is a bit far from city
Airport is very far from the college and takes about 1.5 hrs

The whole fee for the mentioned course is to be paid in 6 installments throughout the course period. There are various Scholarships including some being sponsored by private companies while some are Government schemes as well.

There are few scholarships like Narotam Sekhsaria, NBFA, etc to assist financial aid by the college. Kindly go through the eligibility criteria and be prepared with the required documents to avail the scholarship. I got the opportunity to intern at Amazon.
