Likes
- Library is really very good, we can find so many books there, different authors and it’s really big including E-library.
- Gym which is having AC is also good, you can seat there anything and enjoy playing chess
- There are labs where you can do your work anytime if you don’t have a laptop
Dislikes
- I’m having a subject Python and teacher over there don’t do python practically but instead concentrate on theory like book reading. Subject like Python should not be taught like that
- It’s being 3-4 months not received I’d card, the college is really very slow, less placement like about 30% only
- Washroom are the worst, Indian toilets and water from tap do not even come. Sanitary pad machine seems like don’t work at all and washroom are so dirty always black.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a commerce student I always wanted to do BMS, the time I got the course it was like already one month late but yes the syllabus is not too taught if considering only DSC but the syllabus at the extra subjects like GE, VAC, AEC I don't understand why they are even introduced.
Placement Experience
As per the reports only 30% gets placed and you should build outside relation with companies because companies over here you have not even heard of them, so it's like college not for placement average placement is about just 3.5 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
For one year I am paying 25680, as such they have not specifically mentioned the area where the fee is being utilising. They do provide with schlorships but I am not aware about it. And seats are reserved for Sc, ST but exactly what fee they are paying is not being disclosed anywhere.
Campus Life
There are so many societies so many clubs here, amazing experience to work with them, they are a bit strict about deadlines and all but there are so many clubs to join and explore your college life. They organise fest also.
Admission
I wanted Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. It's every commerce student dream, best for placement and very reputed but unfortunately due to CUET scores got this one which is having only 30% placement and average package is 3.5 LPA
Faculty
They have appointed new faculty for this semester, some teachers are really good they answer each of your message, they are very much lenient but some like of Python are the worst, they don't understand you they don't know how to teach, they are literally teaching python like story telling.
Interview Experience
No there is no interview no GD, you just have to give CUET exam and based on your score colleges of Delhi University and also some other universities are offered. This time, Delhi University has also done many spot rounds, and yes, in the last round you have to give the personal interview where your personal details were asked but I did not experienced it as I already got the college in my ECA round.
Night Life
Night time is worst of the area, you should as a girl not stay till night because the area is not safe at all. Talking about our Canteen the food has now got some more variety like Chole Bhature and Pav Bhaji in just 40-50 rupees but still they charge 15 rupees for a 10 rupees lays and 25 rupees for a 20 rupee lays
