About BCAS DU
Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is a constituent public college of the University of Delhi. The college has been accredited by NAAC with an A grade and it is spread over an area of 12 acres. This includes the central library, sports ground, canteen, computer and Wi-Fi, etc. Bhaskaracharya college currently offers B.Sc (Hons.) in multiple specializations. The admission to the UG courses is carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in CUET UG. After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates have to appear in the centralized DU CSAS process for seat allocation.
Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences has an Academic Staff of hundred teachers for teaching almost 1700 students. It has a total faculty of 87 teachers out of which approx 22 teachers are associate professors and 65 assistant professors.

BCAS Admission
Bhaskaracharya College admission to the UG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the entrance exam and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment—registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose their college and course preferences. Step 2: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences
Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences.
Step 3: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.

BCAS Scholarships

The elegibility of the course is based upon your cbse and other board ranking and marks The admission process is quite easy and comfortable,the admission form provided by the staff and also available on online method and you can choose the course by your own and also consult from the University counseler

- Teacher are well behaved and helps a lot if you go to them with problem related to academic.
- Students are aware, hardworking and dedicated. So, environment is good.
Dislikes
- Declaration Of semester result takes approximately 2 to 4 months of time.
- No placement cell exist that can provide internship or placement opportunities.
Admission:
For entering my college you need to pass CUET test and then apply for DU College. Cutoff for my course would be 600 out of 800. The subject necessary are Physics, Chemistry , Maths , Language and General Test in cuet and PCM IN 12th. NTA website provide complete info about cuet and reservation availed.

- Infrastructure is quite good.Campus is large enough.Laboratories are also well equipped.
- Seminars and workshops are organised more often.

- Placements are not really good. College don't pay attention to it as much .
- Classes are conducted regularly but teaching is not good enough to attend all the classes.
Admission:
Eligibility is 12th passed in PCB subjects.Admission is taken through CUET exams. Application form can be accessed through nta.nic.in .This exam is conducted once in a year. Reservations are for different categories like sc,sc,obc and pwd .

- The availability of equipments in the lab
- Canteen has good food and healthy options along with some junk food during regular class times
Dislikes
- Girls washrooms are dirty, smelly, not in function, sometimes no water supply, no flush, no light or lock
- Only has 2-3 cold water coolers in college that too at very long distance
Admission:
The admission process was very smooth and had to come directly on orientation day. Also it's mandatory to take your fees receipt print out for entry. Please do not forget it otherwise the guard will make you run for it. I don't much know the eligibility criteria as it can be found on internet also. The application process all are interent based so there's not much tension of going here and there.

- Canteen food is not good and college do not have there own stationery shop if we want print so where we will go
Admission:
When I took admission, I gave a cuet entrance exam but the problem was that the cut off was not told. You just have to select the college and your name will be shown to you personally it means you got the admission

- Teachers are too much corporative. Attendance system is there but they use to help you if you have less then 75%.
- The infrastructure of the college is too good. Everything is there from sports to auditorium and musical room and etc.
Dislikes
- Placement are too low or for few department it is not there only.
- The classes are arranged so that for even three class you have to stay for whole day as there are too much gap between classes.
Admission:
For computer science the cutoff goes till 82% for OBC and 87% for General. These are the reservation benefits. The application form is available at Delhi University website. We have to fill and deposit it physically in the college.

- Limited access to books in library with respect to time and number of copies available
Admission:
The selection process in delhi University has now become very easy and less competitive for students due to CUET-UG and PG. The programme fee remains the same and no admission criteria based upon class 12 percentage and all that, sports quota still there.

- The college has all the facilities like free wifi, labs, cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball court etc.
- The library of this college is very big and have lots of books and magazine
Dislikes
- This college doesn't guarantee placements.
- Fests are not that good in this college specially after lockdown
Admission:
The eligibility of my course is only for science students having physics chemistry and maths as core subjects. The application form for this college and course is available on the site of this college. When I took admission there was no entrance but now there is cuet ug by which one can take admission in this college.
