BCAS Admission Process 2026

Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination

Bhaskaracharya College admission to all UG courses is based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

  • Candidates applying to CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.

To successfully submit the CUET application, candidates require various documents such as -

  • A scanned copy of the recent passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of your signature (black ink)
  • Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
  • Marksheets of all qualifying exams

Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam

Step 3: DU CSAS Registration and [Course + College] Preferences

Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for seat allotment at BCAS DU. Once registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences. Registration portals for admission to various courses along with the registration fee of Delhi University are as follows:

There are various documents that candidates should submit during the DU CSAS registration process, such as -

Step 4: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the Bhaskaracharya College admission criteria, such as:

  • A combination of selected colleges and courses
  • Rank secured in the entrance exam
  • Availability of seats
  • Category of candidates

Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Upon declaration of the merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered. Once a seat has been allocated to Bhaskaracharya College in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time.

  • Once the candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate.

The admission process was very smooth and had to come directly on orientation day. Also it's mandatory to take your fees receipt print out for entry. Please do not forget it otherwise the guard will make you run for it. I don't much know the eligibility criteria as it can be found on internet also. The application process all are interent based so there's not much tension of going here and there.
