My experience is quite good in the college all the faculty members from.watchmen to admin staff all are good , helpful and cooperative, but the think I don't like is the low rated fest the standard of the fest should be High but if a student just want to focused on studies amd want a pure science stream college than Bhaskaracharya college of applied Sciences, DU is best

The major events happening are the Foundation day celebration and Unifest. They're usually held around January. The library is greatly equipped with helpbooks and reference books for all subjects and competitive exams. Each classroom has an advanced provison of projectors and screens for displaying study material. There is a sports week held each year and a wide range of games are played in the competition. There's a total of 6 clubs ranging from literature to environment. Events are held timely and engaging all students of the university.

All the faculty members are highly Educated in their respective fields, most of them having attained their doctorates too. They're always ready to help students wherever needed, and actively test our learning abilities with short quizzes and tests. Interaction with the professors happens on a daily basis, whether it's regarding the studies or extra curricular. Regular mentor mentee meetings are also held with at least 6 students under one professor to solve any problems they might have.

Tution fee is affordable approx ? 27000 per year. I think all the courses have same fee except computer science which is a bit higher. You can avail national scholarships or the college offer fee concession if the family income is below ?5 lakh per year. The faculty provide information regarding internships and you can apply for interview for placements in last year of your course.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good. The sports and other societies of college are very great. Seniors provide every information regarding this. You can give auditions for various societies. Sports and extracurricular activities are greatly appreciated in this college.

Faculty to student ratio is fine as of now. We have multiple teachers teaching same subjects.Faculty is helpful but teaching can be improved. Gathering study material is rather a tedious task in this college.Teachers don't provide a proper study material and library facilities are also not upto mark.

Campus Life

Lesser fest are organised and that too not very grand. Annual fest , Srijan is organised every year. Other departmental fests are also organised. Books are available in library but not very accessible because major books you'll require are issued only for a day. So its not very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have opted is just the right one which can get you in any field unlike other courses. You can change your field after graduation because this course offers variety of career and PhD options. This course is the closest to the mbbs education if you are interested in it. It offers variety of learning options and one can study infinite if they want but always stick to the what teachers are teaching in class. Our teachers are very well qualified but they lack to teach in our level meaning they teach on high level which you can't understand properly. Every department has their own some good and bad teachers but overall it's good. The questions asked in exams are good but sometimes they focus only on one topic and the marks distribution in some subjects is irrelevant. They ask answers that doesn't have long answers but ask in high marks questions. The practical session is good along with viva and they provide snacks also in between. Overall all good

Campus Life

Annual fest is called Srijan in our college. It's held around late Feb or starting March. But before annual fest there is departmental fest also organised by every department on day after another in which you can enjoy their shows, games and stalls provided by them. There are many events held in our college and time to time educative competitions are also held which has prices also. Sports facilities are also good and sports events and competitions are held 2-3 time in a year. Inter department sports competitions are held which is very fun to watch. Teachers are also very supportive in this and sometimes give free attendance if went to play for the department. There are projecters in every class and mostly taught by ppts. There are many clubs which are very active but to get in any club auditions are held. This college is supportive for various causes like anti ragging, aids etc and organise events for it.

Tution fees is 24000 for a year. If you are not from Delhi then nearby PG is around 8-10K per month . Examination fees is around 2000 which is paid per semester that is 4000 per year. Scholarship provided by college is of two types one is need based and another is merit based. For scholarship you have to appear for an interview.

Faculty

Faculty and students interaction is good. Faculty members are very supportive. Like they help us in every aspect from studies to workshops and events etc. Their mentorship is also very helpful for students. We can interact with teachers after cour classes or even in break. In case of doubt we can text them easily.

In starting we have college orientation in which we are told abot the college, college position, placements, societies etc. with some entertainment functions. Then we also have our seperate department orientation in which we are told about the cgpas and introduction of teachers. Then we have sports fest "spardha" starting with March past and lots of sport activities. we have annual fest "karwaan" in which artist are invited for concert and DJ night. We have elections, departmental and college election seperately. We have so many societies for dance, music, fashion, art, acting etc. we have Diwali Mela in which so many activities are organised like dancing, singing, acting, games. For are department, the council organise seminars through out the year, which are so informative.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I love to go in research field. And this course opens the option to be an resercher or forensic scientist. As this course is related to the living world, human life, microorganisms, all the things which are in our environment in us. This course is preparing us for the exact applications of real world and for our future academic pursuits by providing the knowledge about the surrounding creatures, environment and about us. This course is so interesting but can be more interesting if we use the real world applications instead of just reading the books or performing the preperformed experiments. The teaching methods can become more interesting by using 3D animation for the topics. If you have studied with your full heart then the exam is so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Ok so the major highlight of this course is you study about nearly every branch of science such as forensic science, genetic engineering, pharmacology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, cell bio, developmental bio, biochemistry, first aid, cancer bio, etc throughout the 4 years. It is an honors course so the final year you'll have the opportunity to do internship and project work too. A year is divided into 2 semesters. In each semester there's 2 internal exams and 1 final sem exam. They are moderately difficult as you cannot pass science subjects without studying.

Campus Life

There are all major functions that is conducted such as annual day, sports day, 2 days fest, but additional programs are less because our curriculum is kind of packed tight. Overall the campus life is good and enjoyable. The library is good and filled with a large number of books for reference. The classrooms have projectors and mic facilities are also there. There's a lot of sports and extracurricular opportunities in the campus. Especially competing with other colleges. There are various student clubs and meetings on every Friday evening for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Firstly what motivated me to choose the course was, Bsc Biomedical Science is something very much unique than all other bsc courses, where we get to deal with microorganisms, different chemicals in the laboratory. Get basic knowledge about laboratory and also get to know about all living beings in the environment. Also we study about cells and it's function. This curriculum prepares us well about all the knowledge to have for conducting a research in the field one is interested about. There is a total of 5 exams for each semester 3 theory and 2 practical. 3 Theory includeds - 2 internals and 1 semester exam and 2 practical includeds - 1 internal and 1 semester (final exam)

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are given in Laboratory. Usually Bio-Tech labs. Based on the combination of courses opted. Career options are - Academicians, Researchers, Application specialist in Biotech Laboratory, Food Laboratory, Hospitals, Hospital labs, Opportunities in regulatory agencies, science communications in publishing agencies, Enterpreneur and more. As I'm still pursuing my bachelor's, I don't know much about internship opportunities from the college.
