Merit-Based Admission: In this way of admission, institutions generate a merit list for their course, and the merit list is based on the 12th mark scored by the students. Interested candidates need to cross the cut-off marks decided by the institutions. Entrance-Based Admission: This is the second way of providing admission for BSc Chemistry. Some institutions provide admission based on the Entrance exam taken by them. Institutions like Banaras Hindu University, Christ University, and Punjab University are some of them.

BSc Chemistry Admission Eligibility Criteria in India

Admission to the BSc Chemistry Courses is board done in two ways:

Through Entrance Exams conducted by Institutions before providing admission and

BSc Chemistry Distance Education in India

There are some institutions in India that provide BSc Chemistry Distance Education, where students don’t need to travel to college regularly and attend classes regularly. These classes are scheduled once or twice a week.

BSc Chemistry –Distance Education Admission

In India, there are institutions like NSOU, IGNOU, Nalanda Open University, Archarya Nagarjuna, and so on that offer BSc Chemistry through distance mode.

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest is PRAGCON held in the month of december . The college also celebrates events like world anthropology day with various competitions and performances . Books and journals are easily accessible from the library for all students . Classroom are like normal class with blackboard and chalk and bench . There is a laboratory in our college where we performed our experiment and do our research . Sports activities are held once in a year with full of competition and good performances . Student run clubs are also there but in other branches , I don't know about it but we have only one club i.e. micobiology club in bio department and redox club in chemistry department .

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum fee structure and teaching method are appreciated and awesome . So i chose this college .This college helps in building our career as soon as possible because they provide all support whatever is required . Improvents in even more practical learning with advance technology should be there . Timings of exams are of three hours. We have to write answers according to the marking scheme . Generally exams are taken in the moth of april and october by the exam cell department. Difficulty level is very hard like IITs .

Review about Pub kamrup college

•In this college I took admission in B.Sc in chemistry course in 2024.This college is one of the finest colleges in the entire Kamrup (rural) district for normal graduation in the pure science field. The Chemistry and Physics branch of this college is very good. After completing this course, we get admission in top universities of India by giving different post graduation entrance in future.After that, after clearing UGC NET and CSIR NET, you can apply for Assistant Professor and can also apply for different companies. There are different exams for this course in our college, first there is an online quiz for internal marks, after that there is a seasonal exam, at last there is a practical exam, viva and university semester exam occure.

College campus is very beautiful.Annual festival is organized every year in our college. Along with that, elections are also held in the college for student union members.The library is also very good, there are more than 50000 books available, there are also competitive exam oriented books for SSC, Railway, CAT exam. Along with this there is a separate place for daily newspapers as well.Assamese and English newspapers are available, along with that there is also a monthly Assamese magazine .

My beloved college

There was good lecturing through the year there was good bonding between students and lectures. There was two courses science and commerce and even the principal was also commerce lecturer and there was discrimination between commerce students and science students I like the science teachers because there was good understanding between us and them and they would clear our doubts at any time we approach them and they are Praveen sir, suparna mam, dhanraj sir arun sir , pragathi mam , parmeshwari mam The teachers I don't like is commerce teacher beacuse even the science students wish them they would not react to us and they were very arrogant to us with silly mistakes in the campus they are Shashank sir champakala mam, hemalatha mam, kavya mam. Here exam and test were very offen almost 6 round test and 3 exam were conducted by the college the test were done after every four chapters and the exams were conducted after every 3 test and test were conducted for 35 marks for course subject and 49 marks for language and maths and exam were conducted for 80 for language and maths and 70 marks for course subject . Teachers were good in valuation and marking there was no mistakes in that but they were discriminating the toppers and failures

There were many festival and event celebrated and made us happy there were many oriention and awareness program conducted through the year the festival celebrated in the campus is ganesha festival, krishna janmastmi, Saraswathi pooja etc . The campus life I have enjoyed atmost because the principal was supportive at every movement and he was alway in the student favour and every Wednesday students were allowed to wear colour dress and there was no bad complaint in the campus as I saw every student enjoyed every movement they were in the campus and monthly one event was conducted There was a social media account page but there was less followers and even I have the social media account of our class in which I was posting the class memes and best moments photo

Chemistry Department of Deoghar College

There was 3 techers including HOD and 1 LAB staff member and we were 200 students in the classroom and Anila Ma'am was a great mentor for Chemistry she never left any student in doubt and one teacher named Chandan sir was not even good at teching he used to memorize the chemistry formulas and try to act cool and superior whole time . There were internal,viva and Final papers for Every Semester totally 18 exams specifically.

I have paid total 15000 for whole Course which is 5000 per year and 2500 per semester and I haven't opted for Tution and all but there was a compulsory Registration fees which is 1200 and I'm not sure about my batchmates fees but they persons with Reservation have some amount of Relaxation comparing me .

A brief about B Borooah college

We have to pay 7480 for our Bsc Programe for a year including 2 semesters. Everyone have to pay the same amount even the unreserved categories and reserved .And the college charges about 2100 from us as a examination fees including practicals if it is without practicals then it would be around 1300 to 1400 probably. I have to pay my fees in the starting of every odd semester .

The faculty is very good and helping with students ...they help us with every topics to learn completely. There are 2 exam in our college to give sessional exam and End semester exams .we have to pass with minimum 40% in every subject .

What I felt

Faculties are very strict and discipline. Teaching quality is excellent. Their knowledge is outstanding and they have good experience. Quality Notes were provided compared to other college. Everyone were strict so no favorite or haterdness on anyone. If i have to say sports sir and languages like kannada and sanskrit teaching faculty were friendly. Yearly two sem exams and 3 internals. Most of them used to fail only 30% students could clear because question papers used to be difficult. Clearing exam in Tumkur university is little difficult only. In one sem one paper will be always very difficult.

Annual festival is called spoorthi it is held yearly. Culturals like ethnic day and some competitions were held yearly. Wide collection of books are available I used to visit library even after degree not only subject related good novels are also their. Daily news papers are provided both English and kannada. In some class room projectors are there we used it during seminars also teachers use it to show some educational based videos.

Life at NSSCN

The infrastructure of the college should be developed.The library facility of the college is nice. The sports activities of the college is good. The functioning of NCC and NSS are good and majority of the studnts are being part of it. The functioning of other social groups are not much satisfiable.

The faculties are good. The students can freely approach the faculties for clearing their doubts. The faculties are highly educated, talented and have good experience in the field of teaching. The faculties are aways supportive in nature for the students welfare.

Yes my college are my educational journey.

The year wise fees paid for 5000 and tution fees for 15000 and registration fees for 1000 development fees for 1500 lab fees1500 and other compulsory charge for category wise charged like OBC SC ST and General categories also faresof your batchmates more than other categories.

Yes My college annual and technical festivals are holiday and very big library in my college and facilities for free of cost drinking water and cooling for fans and so many more books are provided in my college, free of cost provided by Wi-Fi facilities.

The boring govt girls college.

Fee is okay, but the education the teachers not worth it. I've heard private institutes provide better education and they pay attention to you. Here the classes are delayed, teachers are not interested in teaching the concepts they're just doing the formality that yes we're attending classes. The quality of education I expected from a government institute in science stream is not here.

They usually organise events but I do not participate at all. Recently veethika was organised in which I heard that many colleges have participated. No sports training for new students, you've to do it by yourself. A closed basket ball court. Nothing special at all. A library in which you can not take your own books. Affordable canteen.

Digboi college

The faculty and the student ratio is 10:1. The teacher student relationship is very good. The faculties are very much approachable. I like biswajit sir very much as he is the coolest guy ever. I hesitate to talk with khound sir I don't know why. There are three exams two sessional and one final sem exam.

I chose the course because I want to become a chemistry teacher. The explanation and many inspiring stories inspire us for facing the real world The areas of improvement should be in the focusing on practicals more rather than theory. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate.

Our college name is digboi college . The fee structure in our digboi college depends on samester wise . There is a fees for samester promotion and also there is a examination fees . In digboi college each samester we should pay fees for samester promotion.when we talk about lab there is some shortage of material and the instrument in our college there is no categories for management of SC and ST all students are equal in college ,room or lab .

My experience for college campuses is good. When ever I come to college campus I felt relaxed mind and feel peaceful listening creeping of birds. When I talk about library there is a available of books material in our college

Beyond the Book

From the aspect the campus is good because of eco friendly with the animal, birds and other , with surrounded by tress. The canteen are fine food are at average at cost. The sports are also active both the financial for organization is not good

The compound are best with evergreen environment and faculty member are good relationship with the student. As i belong from the zoology department and the teacher are friendly plus strict that also help us t o maintain discipline .

A great college with great authority

i have great experience in our college campus. college has a beautiful campus there are many beautiful trees around college and college street and our college is on upper hill, so from the up of the college building has a beautiful view. Also our college's girls and boys hostel are very beautiful and there are many students come from different places. in our college libary there are many books on different topics but the books are limited. the college helds many functions and college weeks ,in college week there are many types of sports are helds for all students and we all enjoy the college week and functions and there are union club and sports club for students, who are interested in these clubs they can join them. Also college has great facilities and technological provisions within the classroom.

There are many faculty members in our college. Digboi college has between 63 and 73 faculty members. They are certified and close to students. I like nilakshi ma'am hod of chemistry department, I like her the way she treat other students and she is very close to students. I like her personality and she is very cute. In our college helds three exams per semester, the exams are not very easy and nighter hard. But many students can't pass the exams. And our college has many valuable courses.

Best college in kalyan

Faculty and student ratio is 1:10 selected one mentor for some group of students. My mentor is pranjali mam she is giving all good and valuable knowledge to how live our life . I like mostly chemistry department. I don't like a counter staff they are delayed all problem which have small solution Exam held by department is moderate level . Paper made that sense all students should pass exam .

There are fest like PRAVAH , Commergence, bharari , URJA (for sports) , IGNITE ( for NSS ) Many other fest held in various departments. all classroom are digitalised by projector , all departments having computer lab seperately. In campus many extracurricular activities happened like recently I was joined a Generative Ai and Life Employability skill course

There is 150+ courses in this college. I'm persuing b sc in chemistry here teachers are interactive and also solve students problem (syllabus or personal) . Guide there students to crack any entrance or motivate them also arrange seminar of successful peoples. In chemistry there is 3:1 ratio of girls and boys . Exams are easy for first yr difficult level increases with std . The exams where arrange and conducted by college so is not that difficult

In this college each department held there fest eg science -pravah ,it/cs- ignite and tech expression ,commerce - commergence, sports - urja and ypl and the biggest of all events of all departments is birlotsav. This year this was held with underground dance battles and concert where India's got talent runner up mark there presence
