PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE - GUWAHATI

Curriculum fee structure and teaching method are appreciated and awesome . So i chose this college .This college helps in building our career as soon as possible because they provide all support whatever is required . Improvents in even more practical learning with advance technology should be there . Timings of exams are of three hours. We have to write answers according to the marking scheme . Generally exams are taken in the moth of april and october by the exam cell department. Difficulty level is very hard like IITs .

Total fees taken in a year is - 41000 as it is a two years course so they charge very less fees in a two year . Caution fees are - 5000 admission fees - 2000 For sc /sts only there is some relaxation . Like they just have to pay 36000 in two years . Scholarships are given to sc/sts only .

The name of the annual fest is PRAGCON held in the month of december . The college also celebrates events like world anthropology day with various competitions and performances . Books and journals are easily accessible from the library for all students . Classroom are like normal class with blackboard and chalk and bench . There is a laboratory in our college where we performed our experiment and do our research . Sports activities are held once in a year with full of competition and good performances . Student run clubs are also there but in other branches , I don't know about it but we have only one club i.e. micobiology club in bio department and redox club in chemistry department .

I prefer this college because of its affordability and location. I have aaplied for other colleges too but i have a fond of love with chemistry as i want to go in deep research so i went to this college and choose this course. Yes , i get many rejection from top colleges but due to financial crisis i choose this college as my first priority. Admission is taken by the marks of JEE MAINS , CUET AND COLLEGE EXAM . Eligibilty is simple you have to score good in your core subject in 12th and jee mains you have to score above 70 percentile , then only you can get this college .

Faculty to student ratio's are good and teachers support in getting into govt. services .They are very approchable and accountable . I like chemistry teacher MR. AJAY SIR . His tecahing style is good and impressive . I don't want to write name of my tecaher whom i hate but i hate him because of his behaviour. Exams are taken twice with the practicals in a year . All students easily crack this exam . Course is relevant according to the companies demand .

Gym are there nearby the college . College do not any Gym as we lost our gym in fire . Library are open all the time with A.C facilities and wi-fi too. Cafeterias are also there in the campus and studnts passed their most of the time in canteen . Timings of canteen are rom 6:00 AM to 10 :00 PM. Hangout places are the Cafeterias and library . Safe place to roam around this college is the park inside the campus .
