The examination fee covers all the exam related expenses including the practical course work and the laboratory usage fee. Other fees including development and laboratory use are not required as far as I am aware. There is no requirement for security fee deposit. It is a government college. The infrastructure is good. The admission fees for BA students is 7180. The BCom branch is self financed here and there examination fee amounts for 1390. The faculty is very co operative and helpful. The alumni network is very strong.
Campus Life
There are multiple freshman socials that are held. The college hosts the annual State Level debate competition. There are multiple opportunities to get involved in cells such as Community Development, Literature Cell and the likes. The college encourages all round development by allowing to take part in other sports, arts, cultural and literary events and conditions. Students can also opt for computer courses.
Admission
As far as I'm aware, it is the only college in the vicinity provides BSc in Anthropology. There are a few colleges providing graduation in Anthropology but they offer it from Arts stream. And Arya Vidyapeeth College (Autonomous) is by far the best college for the course of anthropology. The admission procedure takes place through class 12th merit and also through CUET with spot admission rounds for both
Faculty
The college has almost 6 faculties per department on an average. All the faculties are super helpful and are always ready to clear our queries. They all are super approachable. I'm particularly fond of all the faculty of the Anthropology department. The Anthropology department has an all-female faculty and they are very understanding and encourage you to be the best. An attendance of 75% is required to sit for the exam. There are majorly two exams per semester. The sessional/ mid semester exam. And there is three final exam or end semester exam. Each semester is of 6 months, so annually we have to appear for four exams, two end semester and two sessionals.
Night Life
The gymnasium is undergoing construction. There is one college canteen and a cafeteria where the prices are affordable and the food quality is also good. The library has a wide range of books and journals. Students are provided free access to digital library within one week of admission. The library remains open from 8:30 in the morning to 4:30. The college is well connected to transportation facilities and other amenities such as market, shops, malls, pharmacies, hospitals and railway station
