Course Curriculum Overview
Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is quite affordable with several scholarship facilities available for students. There are also several schemes for students belonging to SC, ST and EWS categories. Addmission fees is taken once in a year and along with examination fees and registration fees. The yearly fees varies from ?4000- ?6000 for bachelor's program. This includes tution fees, admission fees, development fees and other such included facilities.
Campus Life
The college lacks a social life. The campus is quite small compared to other colleges in Guwahati. Student unions and several clubs exist but serve no actual function. The college hosts an annual one week college week in the month of February consisting of cultural rallies, wall magazine competitions, sports and other such even.
Admission
The college is not the best one is Guwahati but helps one in getting by and have a decent job offer. The college has low cut off marks and thus makes it an easy and available option for many students with average to medium-high scores. The students are accepting based on their secondary examination marks and gradesheets.
Faculty
Each department consists of about 5-6 faculty members at max. Most of the faculty members are approachable and friendly but proper classes are often not conducted. Students have to appear for a sesseional examination and an en semester examination each year. Options for betterment and arrear examination are available for students who score poor marks in their examination.
Night Life
The college opens at 8 am in the morning and closes off at 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The college has a central library, a gymnasium and seperate common rooms pertaining to both boys and girls. There are not many social spots in and around the college and night life is almost non- existant in the college.
