I choose this course i.e. department of botany because the department ensuring a strong theruotical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for studies as the academic results is always good which will make graduates well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the internships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which releases unnecessary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

The Head of the department (HoD) is Dr.Deepika Devi, the educators specialized in various sub-disciplines of botany, ensuring a better learning experience for the students. I like Dr. Satya Nath Doley sir because he teaches us very friendly and give help financial to the students who can't afford his fees. There is no teacher that I don't like about, we are very grateful for the teachers in our department. The exam conducted per semester i.e. in very six months in which sessional exam is conducted as a unit test which is for 30 marks. The final exam is for 50 marks and practical is for 50 marks.

The teachers should condier the students who do not understand Assamese and try to use it as less as possible during the class for the convenience of the student who do not understand the language at all. The frequency and timing of the exam is quite good and I would like it to be the way it is.

Since statistics is a very demanded subject everywhere right now, it made me opt for this course. This course doesnt actually help in getting jobs though. Its very tough to get a job just with this degree. The course could include more of the modern day needs like ai, data science and more. The frequency of exam is 2 in 4 months. Its hard to cover all in 4 months
