The playground and library is the best part of the college it's really big and nice
The faculty is very nice it's really helpful the teachers, the seniors the seniors are the best!
I know that there are many chances our college gives students scholarships.

Dislikes

The counter staff is a bit rude and gets irritated quite fast
The girls common room toilets are a massive disgrace here , it's really very unhygienic
The college has inadequate parking space. More parking areas are required to accommodate to the needs of students.

Likes

The teachers are very good . The most important thing is they use mouth mike for that every student get to hear properly
They are strict about the attendance they make sure that every student comes to coleege
They all are active in WhatsApp groups every time we needed

Dislikes

The construction part which I don't like it has to be done earlier bais
They will have one counter if any form needs to provide
Have to gather all the science arts and commerce students among to get the form in one room

It's a very good course ...I am a arts student and I chose economics which I like the most I got the great marks in hs it's a very good subject it will be beneficial for my future I will take time it's quite hard but I have to learn this

The library of the college is what I like the most.

Dislikes

Language barrier. The professors use Assamese most of the time so it gets very frustrating sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers should condier the students who do not understand Assamese and try to use it as less as possible during the class for the convenience of the student who do not understand the language at all. The frequency and timing of the exam is quite good and I would like it to be the way it is.

Likes

I like Garden of our college because it is beautiful and the claener used to clean everyday.
I also like Staffroom because they keep it very clean and tidy.
And I also like our college Surrounding because sweeper clean everyday and make it look like standard.

Dislikes

I don't like our college Classroom because it is not as big as number of students are.
I disliked our girls Common room because it is always dirty.
And i dislike Auditorium because its to small.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Education department because in future I want to become a good professor. Some faculty in our Education department doesn't teach properly but some are very good in teaching. Some teachers need to teach properly and some teachers need to be regular. The timing of exam should be 3 hours and internal exam timing should be ½ hours.

I like most is that the natural environment and can see other types of birds pool etc
And the way our major political science teacher has been teaching us with good and clear concept
And there is sport curriculum like basketball and volleyball and other indoor outdoor activities

Dislikes

The most dislikes is that there is no football field or play ground
Teacher who use rarely english that students doesn't clear their concept
There should be inter college competition in sports that every individual can take part

I like the environment of the college as its is far from the main road so for that vehicle noise is inaudible
Campus life is good and I make some friends

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

Likes

There are a vast variety of courses , more than many other colleges.
The infrastructure is nice , considering the fess .
The library of the college is a good environment to study .

Dislikes

Some teachers are really rude and don't help out students .
Some classrooms aren't in good condition.
And sometimes the teachers themselves doesn't come in the first morning class .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect that influenced me to choose this course is , computer science. I'm interested in coding and programming. The curriculum lacks in preparing you for real-world applications as it focuses on mostly theory part . The improvement they can do is , by teaching students practically more and theoretically less. Because coding requires practice. The difficulty level is average , so frequency and timing of exams are fine .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chartered accountancy course influenced me to choose Bcom. This course is half way related to chartered accountancy basics and prepares the base for CA course. There is no improvement needed in the course and teaching methods. Exam timings should be a bit late to get ourselves prepared for the exams.
