Likes
- I like Garden of our college because it is beautiful and the claener used to clean everyday.
- I also like Staffroom because they keep it very clean and tidy.
- And I also like our college Surrounding because sweeper clean everyday and make it look like standard.
Dislikes
- I don't like our college Classroom because it is not as big as number of students are.
- I disliked our girls Common room because it is always dirty.
- And i dislike Auditorium because its to small.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Education department because in future I want to become a good professor. Some faculty in our Education department doesn't teach properly but some are very good in teaching. Some teachers need to teach properly and some teachers need to be regular. The timing of exam should be 3 hours and internal exam timing should be ½ hours.
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission fees - 7,180 Year wise fees - 1,000 Registration fees - 890 Exam centre fees - 400 Other compulsory charges are around 2 to 3,000 Batchmates fees are 7,100 I applied for scholarship but my scholarship didn't verified in state level.
Campus Life
They celebrate every festival in Assam we have. Every course and department books are available in library. In some classroom their are no proper fan and no proper desk bench. Activities offered on campus are - Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and extracurricular activities are like- Dancing, Singing, Acting, Article writing etc etc. I don't know about any student-run social groups.
Admission
I applied only in this Pragjyotish College because I heard that this college is good in teaching. I didn't apply anywhere. Admission process is like first we have to apply online and after that offline in college. My Admission experience was very bad because I thought it is free but at the last they took money.
Faculty
The faculties are good with student, they are very helpful and kind with students. I like Gauri Hazorika Mam, she is HOD of Education department and she is very kind towards students. The faculty I don't like is from English department but I don't know the nname of him. There are two exam and those are Internal exam and Semester Final exam. And they are little hard. Till now results are not declared so i don't know about number of students fail.
Night Life
Till now I didn't see our gym, but library and public area closing are around 5 o'clock. I don't know about hostel because I live in out of campus. College field is famous and it is safe to roam around at night.
