My college is best and beautiful

The political science course in B. Boroaah is very good because the faculty is very reputed. I developed so much interest in political science it also prepares us for real world as debates discussions are common in our curriculum. Presentations also helps us to gain practical knowledge. The exams are not difficult it's easy.

Mostly 5th semester students get the internship opportunities and they get around 5000 stripend. The internship programs are very helpful and they gives practical experience to students. They can have many professional experience through internship. Our college provides the best internship opportunities for students and makes compulsory for all students.

The 6th semester students are eligible for placements. The college provides very good placements around 5 Lakhs package and good jobs too. My plans after getting the degree is doing Master's and clear Ugc NET exam and become assistant professor

Our college provides courses in very low cost. The year wise fees for 2 semesters i paid was Rs 7180. The tution fees is ?2000, caution fees is ?1000, Registration fees is ?1000, Development fees is ?1000 , Lab fees is ?2000 and overall admission fees is ?7180. The fees of my batchmates is same as mine. There are many scholarship for college students like Ishan Uday Scholarship for NER (80000 per year) and OBC Scholarship. I've applied for Ishan Uday Scholarship from which I'll receive 80000 per year. Our school management is very helpful in providing details about scholarship and helping us while applying.

There are many festivals held in our college like Foundation Day In September Month, Freshers program, Farewell party, and youth festival. These events are very engaging and focus on our overall development. Around 10000 books are available in our college library we can easily get the books. We have smart boards and fans with good quality lights are there. There's no hinder in our studies. The college also provides sports and extracurricular activities like volleyball badminton football basketball. There are many clubs like singing club dance club fashion club

I applied for many colleges like Cotton university. Handique Girl's College, Gauhati University, B borooah College and i got selected in every college but i chose B Boroaah as it is A++ credited by NAAC and it provides good courses and faculty is very good as compared to others. The admission process is very simple one is through class 12 marks and other is through cuet marks, the most preferred criteria is class 12 marks and cut off is around 80% above every year.

The faculty is very helpful and experienced. They take classes regularly and take class tests and presentation weekly. There's a friendly relationship between teachers and students. I like all the political science faculties especially Trishna maam she's very sweet and helpful in our studies. There are 2 exams in one semester sessional and end term the exams are moderate. 3 to 4% students fail to clear the exams . Overall the course is very good. The faculty student ratio is approximately 40:1.

I didn't face any interview or group discussion for admission. The admission process is very simple in our college either u cant take admission with class 12 marks or through cuet and according to seats availability u get admission. My admission was through merit list.

Our favourite spot after classes end is the college canteen we have two canteen it provides healthy and hygienic food. There are common rooms for girls and boys separately where we can sit and take rest. The library is very big and we can go anytime to study there. There's a boys hostel near the college and college timing is 9 am to 3 pm. The famous hangout place in our college is the pond where it's very beautiful. And there's a stadium near our college to hangout.
