Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provide decent placement opportunities, though it is not primarily placement Oriented institution. Placements are found depending on the subjects you have opted. Some alumini and professors have told that we have several apsc and upsc aspirants who cracked the exam while studying in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
So, Arya Vidyapeeth college fees is very minimal. For B.A students it's 4060 and for B.Sc its 4960. It's should be paid yearly and it covers all the necessary facilities. Also if students have any practical subjects than they have to pay extra for their practical examination.
Campus Life
Overall our campus is very nice. We have several cultural and annual events in our college which boost our social life. There is a big library in our college where several books are found of different themes. We have projectors and smart classes for studying. We also have annual sports week where students can participate and show there talents.
Admission
I choosed this college as it was one of the popular college in Assam. Compared to other colleges these college was near me and had better placements. And for admission it's based on your 12th marks but from next year the admission will be based on Cuet score.
Faculty
So in my department which is the Geography department, we have 6 faculty members. All of them are female. They are very good and guide us in our overall well being. In our college we have two exams the mid term and the final semester exam and if a student fail fails in one of the exam they have to reappear it before the next semester.
Night Life
Our college locality is safe safe for both girls and boys, we have proper street lamps near our college both inside and outside. We have a gym in our college where we can boost our physical health, and 2 cafeterias to chill out with friends.
