B. Borooah College Guwahati Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The 6th semester students are eligible for placements. The college provides very good placements around 5 Lakhs package and good jobs too. My plans after getting the degree is doing Master's and clear Ugc NET exam and become assistant professor

The course curriculum is good but not everyones ideal type.But as per new education policy the course has developed too many skill aspects in real life but still I would say it lacks some practical use in real life world

The wanted to apply for a degree and I got into it. The areas for improvement is the routine management. Including exam managements as well as those who have economics as well as other science subject find it very hard to comply with the routine and all as there's most two classes at the same time and even exams within the similar time period.

The course which is being provided is very interesting but out there, there are some teachers who can't explain the topics properly and it leads to misunderstanding and loss of interest in students mind

Students generally find the curriculum which beneficial about the college which gave the potential about their circular and curricular activities for which they are able to prepare for exam like IIT JAM

Our course is fine and the department of history specially have very good faculty members who constantly support students and helps in every aspect possible and the course is very interesting itself and you can enjoy everything including college feast

The course provide theoretical, practical as well as field based knowledge of the subject matter. The exams are also conducted in time. The laboratory is well equipped and advanced for the development of the subject matter.

The subject which i am studying open variety of feilds for competitive exam which helps a student in future. The curriculum of the subject designed to crack the civil service exam. Various debates and discussion were done to improve leadership skills.

This college is one of the most famous college for education quality around the Assam . The college has State of the art infrastructure with well equipped classrooms, labs and libraries in the the college.

Well, the Assam board only focuses on indigenous and bookly knowledge, we do not get to study much about the outside world and whats going on in real time. I wish write the answers I got in real life through experimenting during exams but well if its not in the book then I cannot. I suggest the faculty of B.Borooah College to have the students go on field trips, excursions and what not but we rarely get to see that now. As of the timings of exams, well they are good enough but I do suggest them to have exams on a frequent basis so us students can easily cope up with the topics. The exams are mediocrely difficult but its not that easy as well.
