My college is best and beautiful

Faculty:

The faculty is very helpful and experienced. They take classes regularly and take class tests and presentation weekly. There's a friendly relationship between teachers and students. I like all the political science faculties especially Trishna maam she's very sweet and helpful in our studies. There are 2 exams in one semester sessional and end term the exams are moderate. 3 to 4% students fail to clear the exams . Overall the course is very good. The faculty student ratio is approximately 40:1.

Faculty:

The faculty is very good and helping with students ...they help us with every topics to learn completely. There are 2 exam in our college to give sessional exam and End semester exams .we have to pass with minimum 40% in every subject .

B. Borooah college overall in depth

Faculty:

The teachers are great and really attentive to any problems. The teachers in the exam director's room are really helpful like Mridul sir (Hod zoology dept). Moreover the exam director himself is really very helpful(Bijoy sir) Although principal (S.N Barman)is mostly busy in meetings. Student have to really wait infront of his office but turns out to be really helpful and understanding as well. The office staffs including Rakesh Da, are really very helpful as well. The exams are divided into two per 6months. They are sessional which is a test and semester final. Total 4 exams takes place in a year.

The marking system is a bit complicated and checking process is very poor..... In the entire college (only science), only the chemistry department is free with students and explains everything in detail

Faculty members are very good and have a friendly manner fyugp is the course currently going on for the ug students and the exam contains 20 credit marking scheme 16 credit from 3 major subject in 1st to 3rd sem and from 4th sem its 16 credit from major paper and 4 credit from aec or other paper

You'll get a lot of exposure while working under some teacher. They teach you like their family.

Faculty:

For 1 teacher there is ratio of 120 students for the guidance. Teachers guide you very well and allows you to explore other feilds. I personally like Manabendra sarma sir for his potential and the way he is involved in students and giving their best kick of life. Hardly any staff i dislike. Every semester two exam one is sessional and other is final exam. Its easy to cope up if study regularly.

There are 3 to 4 faculty members for each department and 2 helpers for each Department. There are 2 examination are conducted by the college one is sessional and the other is final. Student must qualify both the examination to pass the semister

Exam papers are not that hard (if you study) but overall its a good paper which covers most of the course that was allotted to us. Most of the faculty people are good towards us students but some are there who do not want hear some of the students if they cannot attend the class due to some serious issue or they do not get good marks. About the marking scheme, it depends on the teacher whoever is checking. Some teachers tend to be very strict and some teachers do give step marking or like we are making our own answers which are not in book but are correct. Thats it
