Likes

Every department has projectors for digital learning which help a lot and gives us a fun learning experience
Faculty members are very friendly you can always go up to them and ask about your queries without hesitation

Dislikes

Some of the rooms are old and they do need some repairings
Overall infrastructure can be improved a little
They can also put other books in library

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course goes from basic to advanced like when we started this course we were learning all the basic things that we already knew but after our first semester, we advanced and the course got a little hard and it's actually great because it gives you better learning.

Good teacher, goos canteent food, various major option, college fest is also good, college week is also top notch, rooms are spacious

Dislikes

Need mordern teaching methods, nothing else, pretty much good and average for a government college

It was relevant to than practical course but we did not learn anything in theoritical terms. I wish the college would have provided internship opportunities in the field for opportunities and available possibilities that could had been accessed with the degree

Likes

Faculty is pretty good. The teachers are very friendly and they are always willing to help out the students when ever they need help.
The teachers of my departments are particularly very helpful

Dislikes

The campus near to be much more big in its size.
The bathrooms are not always very clean.
The parking area for the students is not enough for all the students to park their vehicles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of my course is pretty relevant to the topics that I'm studying for. It's very practical and can be related to the practical situation of the day to day life. It consists of different topics and sub topics under the course of my study.

An overview on B.Borooah College

Likes

The College is located at the heart of Guwahati and is one of the oldest colleges in the state.
The faculties are very highly educated and are a brilliant guide to the students.

Dislikes

The land area of the college is a bit less which would serve better if broaden.
A girls hostel is a primary need for the college. The College provides boys hostel but it's a utmost need that they provide it for girls too.
Lastly a better playground for the students is required.

B.Borooah College is affiliated to Gauhati University, and the course, curriculum and syllabus are all set by the university itself. The curriculum fits in perfectly. Sometimes it's a bit lengthy as it covers numerous topics. But the included topics further help us to fit in today's competitive world. The timely conduct of exams is one of the best things on the part of the university. The course almost gets completed in the particular time period.

Likes

The way the help the students regarding the doubts
Classes are quite large and clean , digital classes are also there
Campus is quite clean and environment is full of positivity

Dislikes

Late coming of teachers in the classroom
Not informing about classes wheather they will take class or not
Not completion of syllabus in time and students have to take all the burden alone

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think The present new education policy is creating burden among the students and nothing helpful , earlier there use to be 3-4 subject and now there is 7 subjects which is very time consuming and useless . The students were unable to concentrate on their major subjects because of these minor subjects

Great University Reinbound

Study environment flexible being a semi government just the proper teacher on time classes schedule needs to be improved.
Social interactions were better with each new day and a new beginning with new students to catch up with.
Being a government college whichever facilities required basic amenities were provided to almost all extent.

Dislikes

Class timings and schedule lectures needs to be more accurate
teachers on time with syllabus updated version needs more updated with latest and upcoming day to day versions.
co curricular activities needs more enhancement along with exams structure and student environment to adjust with the same.

More inclined towards economics being both theory in practice and practical. day to day financial aspects, social aspects,relevance to the subject adds more knowledge from the subject. more exposure to economic background and learning the growth and structure in terms of development of the country as a whole.

Campus life is good.. environment is good
Auditorium is huge ...and is named after great Dr Bhupendra Hazarika
There is a pond in our college..u can have a quality time out there

Dislikes

Playground is too small..and is used as a parking
No proper equipments for outdoor games..
