Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not hard or not easy . Based on your personal choise and give interest makes the curriculum better for students. in the college the facilities also help to score good marks . The department should have better e learning platform to improve study

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the amount for addmission is 6800 and semester admission fee is 1000 per semester. There is no external fee for college but as a department there are many expenses like for practical and buying specimen and chemical.

Campus Life

The campus is well decorated with two fishery authority of the collage maintain a divers ecosystem of the collage campus . The pond covers a large area which helps students to study the biodiversity and the ecosystem of the water body with outside

Admission

I choose the collage for various regions. Frist the distance from my college to home is 32 km . Then the collage had very good results then other collage near me and the collage is situated middle of city .

Faculty

The facilities are very good . The exam is held by collage before final exam which is 20 mark for each paper . Then the final exam is 60 marks and practical exam is 20 mark . The rest 20 mark is come from external mark as field trip and other activities

Night Life

The collage nebhours also help the collage events and have gym unisex sallon pg for boys and girls . The night life outside the campus for students is purely safe both the girls and boys . There is a police station is near from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum fee structure and teaching method are appreciated and awesome . So i chose this college .This college helps in building our career as soon as possible because they provide all support whatever is required . Improvents in even more practical learning with advance technology should be there . Timings of exams are of three hours. We have to write answers according to the marking scheme . Generally exams are taken in the moth of april and october by the exam cell department. Difficulty level is very hard like IITs .

•In this college I took admission in B.Sc in chemistry course in 2024.This college is one of the finest colleges in the entire Kamrup (rural) district for normal graduation in the pure science field. The Chemistry and Physics branch of this college is very good. After completing this course, we get admission in top universities of India by giving different post graduation entrance in future.After that, after clearing UGC NET and CSIR NET, you can apply for Assistant Professor and can also apply for different companies. There are different exams for this course in our college, first there is an online quiz for internal marks, after that there is a seasonal exam, at last there is a practical exam, viva and university semester exam occure.

In a general way it's good I must say, the syllabus structure, the faculty members, then the cultural and sports section, all are quite good in this college, But yeah labs are in very bad condition for this college, I wish they renovate it very soon, so that we could get the best practical knowledge out of it.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

I was preparing for competitive exams like JEE and CUET , but they didn't work out and most of the colleges like Cotton , B Borah and all dosent provide BSc in computer science. I didn't got a rejectection , but the seat was completely filled by the time i got there. The process for getting admission is : After class 12 results, you have to apply in a website called Samarth , to apply in all over Assam colleges. You can apply in how many you like . In some colleges you can take addmission through JEE scores , or by CEE And by CUET also . The cutoffs aren't much high for this college, 60-70% will get you addmission in Pragjyotish college.
