I like the environment of the college as its is far from the main road so for that vehicle noise is inaudible
Campus life is good and I make some friends
Good teaching staff and free Frank for that it helps us to understand the concept

Old look of the college maintenance is required

Course Curriculum Overview

As I have completed my H.S from commerce so I have chosen the course. The course also provide practical exam i.e internship for which I have learned something new in my life. As compared to yearly exam semester exam are tough

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees that I pay is on per semester i.e in 6 months, the amount that I pay is Rs 3000 per semester, and there is no management like SC, ST. Everyone has to pay same amount. I forgot what is the amount for admission fees but as its an govt college it will be around Rs 2000- Rs 3000

Campus Life

The library of the college is quite good but I hardly attend library only at the time of exam and also the available of books is average we can't say too unavailable or all books are available in library. And yes there is also held election for College

Admission

Yes I have also applied in other colleges also, but I have to attend both the college for submission at the same date. So I lastly decided to take admission in this college.The procedure to get admission in Pragjyotish college is that you should cracked 45% in H.S

Faculty

Faculty of pragjyotish college in my department are good and the best part is that they are free Frank for that it helps us to understand the concept of learning. I have given 6 semester exam and I passed them without any backlog

Interview Experience

There is no campus interview nor any gd, I hope it's there if I don't crack the interview I could learn how interviewer ask questions, there is also a NCC admission process it's free of cost, I have applied it but lastly I got rejected from physical test

Night Life

The canteen food is good and there is a huge pound at the entrance of the college which feel relaxed while entering to the college. However I don't leave on college hostel I better prefer private hostel. The locality of college are good there looks at there own work but I have never experienced the life of night near the college

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

I prefer this college because of its affordability and location. My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

I was preparing for competitive exams like JEE and CUET , but they didn't work out and most of the colleges like Cotton , B Borah and all dosent provide BSc in computer science. I didn't got a rejectection , but the seat was completely filled by the time i got there. The process for getting admission is : After class 12 results, you have to apply in a website called Samarth , to apply in all over Assam colleges. You can apply in how many you like . In some colleges you can take addmission through JEE scores , or by CEE And by CUET also . The cutoffs aren't much high for this college, 60-70% will get you addmission in Pragjyotish college.
