The faculties are highly qualified and have good experience in the field of teaching.
The atmosphere of the college is awsome and refreshing
The college have abig library with an enormous number of books.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college should be improved.
There is no campus placement cell available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course should get some more changes because in the generation new new innovations are discovered and new job oppotunities are being created so the curriculum should be updated with new applications.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total tuition fee for completing the course will be 12000 and the other fees will be around 10000. The college provides many scholarship and students can apply for all government and non government funded scholarship. The main Scholarship is E grants.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college should be developed.The library facility of the college is nice. The sports activities of the college is good. The functioning of NCC and NSS are good and majority of the studnts are being part of it. The functioning of other social groups are not much satisfiable.

Admission

NSS College nilamel is one of the best colleges under kerala university. In Which many students are getting ranks every year.There are many famous Alumnis studied fromthis college. Students can only join this college by applying for the ug admission application provided by kerala university. The college also provides management quota seats to the students also.

Faculty

The faculties are good. The students can freely approach the faculties for clearing their doubts. The faculties are highly educated, talented and have good experience in the field of teaching. The faculties are aways supportive in nature for the students welfare.

Night Life

There is currently no gym avialable in the campus. The cafeteria of the college is good and it provides food to the students in fair price. There is hotel facilty available in the college. The class starts at 9.30 am and end at 3.15 pm. There is no nightlife in the college.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Life at SB

Placement Experience:

The college has a well functioning placement assistance. There are various companies including banks and Tech based companies which arrives in the college for placements every year. The placement assistant cell prepare students very well for the placements.They grooms the students and prepares them for aptitude test, interviews and group discussions which are required for placements.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

The highest package was 18lakhs and the lowest package was 2lakh per year. The percentage of selection was 62%

I can easily go to this college because I only want to go through one bus to reach the college. The education facilities also good in this college. Anyone who completed plus two exams and are under 23, years of age can apply for this course. There are no entrance exams and with plus two certificates students can enroll for this course under different universities and students get admission through allotment.
