Campus has aesthetic beauty due to the fact that it was built during the British-era
Campus life is full of freedom and enjoyment, and lot of activities to do.
Many great personalities studied and had left a legacy untouched.

Dislikes

Waste management is poor. Require proper waste management techniques
Toilet conditions are bad. Some water coolers are not working
Some faculty members are irresponsible as some don't take classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum difficulty increases each year. Curriculum has dynamic scopes in food, medicines, researches, etc. Theory and internals, practical are divided into 50-50 marks. Timings of exams are reasonable. The only thing to be improved is the curriculum's practical side

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college follows yearly fee paying format. I paid about 5500/- for the first year for the BSc Chemistry course. Along with that the college authorities also remitted about 480/- for PTA find, a caution deposit of 360/-, and other miscellaneous. Scholarships are available based on your +2/degree marks and category.

Campus Life

Library is freely accessible to everyone in the college. NSS, NCC and various clubs work here for student's upbringing. There are cricket and football teams for sports talented students. We also became the champions in the recent cultural festival.

Admission

I choose this college because its reachable from house due to public transport and due its legacy. I received confirmation from other colleges but rejected it due to this reason. The admission is based on your 10/+2 marks and your category.

Faculty

The faculty-student relationship is its best and they are approachable. Chemistry faculty are the best. Some faculties teaching style is bad and some don't take classes. These are some demerits. The course curriculum is well planned.

Night Life

Our college is situated in heart of Kochi city where there are cafes, public parks, restaurants. Nightlife is safe here . Our college football stadium has state-of-the-art gym and has nice atheletic track

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
