But i selection shc thrvara because i felt when compared to Albert's college sacred heart provide much more opportunities. In both extra curricular and academy oriented. One of the main attraction of my college was it's infrastructure. It is a beautiful campus. Students can enjoy their college life with an outstanding atmosphere with Lakeview, college ground, the birds and fishes.

Dislikes

Then about the girls attire in college campus. There were many restrictions regarding girl' dressing such as no sleeveless etc

Admission:

I chose Sacred Heart College over the other colleges, as it boasts a strong academic reputation, structured curriculum, and holistic development. I had applied to other institutions too, including UC college, BMC, MA college etc. I received confirmed admissions from UC college,but what made Sacred Heart different was its excellent faculty, opportunities for research, and a campus environment that's vibrant. The college provides a well-balanced approach to education by putting together more theoretical knowledge with its applications in real life, hence it becomes the best place for me for my academic and personal growth. The rejections that were given from other colleges have been based on the high cutoffs, limited seats, or performance in the entrance examination, so I found Sacred Heart to match my expectations and career goals. The admission process was smooth, and the faculty and administration were helpful throughout. The commitment of the college towards academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and industry exposure made it my top choice, and I am confident that it will provide me with the best opportunities for my future.

The balance of art and academics. We are given a lot of opportunities to pursue our extra curriculums.

Admission:

? I only applied to colleges in my city. I got admission into two of them and, I chose this college because I have studied in the school of the same name run by the same board and the distance was less compared to other colleges. ? I did get admission but since the commute was too long, I didnt continue with the admission. ? The eligiblity is over 95% marks for merit and the admission process is first run by the portal of the college site and if you get in the list, you can proceed to go to college on the admission day and take the admission on that day itself

An Overview on the Sacred Heart.

Likes

Student support is good.The availability of student counciling is better.
Fests and programs are good. Library is better and open to all students.
The ambience of college is very nice. The campus is peaceful and the overall environment is nice.

Dislikes

The department strength is very less. So the involvement in general activities of college is very less.
The traffic around the college is hectic. The transportation difficulty is high.

I applied for masters in botany at Union Christ college, Ernakulam. I got admission call from their later. I chose this course over botany as this course is diverse and chances of career build in comparatively higher in this course.

Also applied for masters in st.alberts college Ernakulam and kerala university karyavattom.due to heavy sem fee i retreated Albert's and due to long travel distance also retreated from joining karyavattom campus.then i got admission from sh thevara which is nearer to my hometown then i choose this college

Life in Sacred Heart

Final year project assistance is provided. Very good placement support is there. Class rooms are air conditioned so we didnt suffer in summers. Unlike other colleges, the do not give sem break, instead they give us two months of holidays every year.
Professors treated us like family. Computer science department has the best faculty. It was a very vibrant campus with a lot of events happening every now and then. You will not miss out on your college life if you study here. IVs were also very nice

Admission:

First of all, all the other colleges i applied to were in banglore. My first aspect of consideration was distance to home. This was closer to my place so I reached a conclusion that I will look for colleges in kochi. SHC's reputation is pretty robust and I always wanted to be a part of this college. Unlike the other colleges I applied to, SHC has a better syllabus with lesser fee.

I chose this college as it is autonomous and the syllabus isn't rigid as government colleges, the reason I didn't get into other colleges as this college is nkure well known and is quite affordable compared to others, the college has a good reputation

No, you are not eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) as the minimum eligibility set requires one to have passed the 12^th standard board examination in the commerce stream from a recognized board.

Yes, Sacred Heart College (SH) has hostel facilities for both male & female candidates on campus. The fee is INR 90,000 for the entire duration of the courses which includes various charges such as mess charges, security deposit, etc.
