The course i opted for is a double main in maths and computer science. By the new fyugp curriculum in kerala students can opt a major subject and 2 minor subjects. But in our case we have 2 majors so we don't have to opt for any minor subjects. This new fyugp curriculum is especially designed to help us get jobs. So the classes are more focused towards practical knowledge. Main exams are being conducted twice a year that is once in each sem. And the difficulty level of these exams are high to moderate.

Many companies offer internships in this college. IT companies like deloit, accenture , wipro etc provide students internhips. Also other corporate secters provide internships to bcom and bba students. Banks like south indian bank and federal bank also provide internships to commerce students.

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

The year wise tution fee of our course is seventy five thousand rupees yearly for management quota students and fifty thousand for students who got selected in the merit category. Apart that the college also charge an exam fee of thousand five hundred for each sem exam. The fee i pay is fifty thousand yearly. College provides E Grant scholarship for SC,ST category students.Other than that no financial aid is being provided for our courses since ours is a self financing course.

Overall ambience and experience of this college is very good. There is a yearly arts fest wich is of three days named 'Chilamb'. Apart from that every department conducts a department fest every year. The library has a vast collection of books. The library itself has two floors of book which include fiction, biographies, science fiction , study materials etc etc. Every classroom here has either a smart board or a projector. Our college gives so much importance to sports and support every students who are interested in them. Also there are so many clubs. College has nss,ncc etc and other clubs like dance, music , film etc etc.

I applied only here and sacred heart college thevara. I chose this college over sacred heart because this college was bit near compared to that college. I didn’t get a rejection from other college. It was my decision to get admissions here because christ is the one among the two college in india which provides this course which is a bachelors in maths and computerscience together. The admission process was very simple. I applied through the college site. And they called me over one day of the admission process. My admission experience was very smooth.

The faculties here are very much approachable. They are well experienced and help us understand our topics much better. I cannot say one faculty is the best because each and every one in my department is very good. The one thing i found very good in them is that they do not have any favourism or discrimination among students. About the exams there is a sem exam and an internal exam. If you fail for internals only your internal marks will be cut but if you fail in the sem exam you will be asked to write the supplementary exam. Number of students fail to clear the exams are near to zero because the faculties make sure that every student understands the topics very well.

The college being 60 acres has so many places to chill out after classes. We have an open gym facility and a girls garden separately for girls . Also college has a canteen facility. It is student friendly and very affordable. Hostel facilities are very poor. Students opt for paying guest since college offers poor hostel facilities. Many students from hostel got food poisoning because of the unhygienic condition there. There are so many foodstals right out side of college which is a perfect place to hangout. And the locality is also safe to roam around even at night. The police patrol all the time there for the safety of students.
