- College has a large library and so many book collection, they also provide a digital library system
- College conducting nice programs , every year there is a college day arts day union day Ethnic day .
- Good infrastructure and good ambience. Faculties were also good.
Dislikes
- Since it's an autonomous college , the number of programs are less , compared to other colleges
- Sometimes we feels that this College is Only meant for study , because the odd sem doesn't have any programs
- In the college, they doesn't provide a college bus facility. That's make some students to come college very hard
Course Curriculum Overview
They research and edit the curriculum every year for makes it best .And their efforts also works. College provides the topics that helpful for students.They includes relevant topics to their syllabus for students to stay updated. Also providing placement assistance. Exams feels like coming early and happening continuesly. But we have time to stude and write the exam.
Placement Experience
The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
1) First year : 12820 Includes tuition fees , admission fees, lab fees, cautious fees etc 2) Exam registration : 1500(1st year) 3) Second Year : 7500 Includes tuition fees , lab fees , maintenance fees 4) Exam fees : 1500 (2nd year ) 5) Third year : to be announced , around 7500 And also there is wavier in fees for SC ST categories
Campus Life
The college has many clubs and they conducting many programs. There is quiz club for conducting quizzes. Malayalam and English debate clubs for the one who interested in debates. Music clubs for the ones who interested in singing. Dance club for the ones who love dancing. Bhoomithrasena club for getting touch with nature. NSS for service and NCC for discipline. Women cell for women. Filim club for cinema lovers. There's IEDC for the one who have ideas. College conducting sports day every year . Film club conducts every year a film festival.
Admission
I didn't apply any other colleges. Because the sir who taught me in Higher secondary told me that SB College is best to study physics in Kerala. And also SBC is only 14 km away from my House. The college has some interesting programs happening, that also made me to come this College. And this college ah a very large library with so many collection of book
Faculty
Faculties are very nice and friendly. Since most of them have PhD , the knowledge that we gain from that was also high. Most of the teachers are friendly to students but some of them are very rude. There was a sir in physics department, and he is very rude to students but he is not a employee of this college anymore . Exams and valuations are comparatively tough because it's an autonomous college. Each semester contains an internal exam , a model exam and the semester exam . Course curriculum is very relevant. They following the OBE system for past years and now they following the FYGUP. The syllabus is prepared by the college and that's very relevant topics they include
Night Life
Actually the college timing is 9 am to 3 pm and the college is open for only 6pm . So in campus we don't have any night life. And most of the programs were also ended by 7 pm . So night imlife is missing in this college
