Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good but some improvements are needed, compared to university as an Autonomous college it is good but for future jobs, it is lacking here and there, exams are conducted on time without failure as well as the results
Internships Opportunities
It is compulsory to do internship in our curriculum and maybe department will hepl us to find the internship organization or we can chose oru own its depends on the departments. In that aspect it is also good
Placement Experience
Our college provides the best placement assistance in all colleges in Kerala, and there are almost 400 student placements in different Companies. In my graduation year 2024, I was one of them. I got placed at EY.
Fees and Financial Aid
We paid semester fees for 1 semester which costs 16000 and in a year there are 2 semesters therefore 32000 per year there are scholarships that colleges provide for academics for the class toppers and based on the department there are many scholarships available
Campus Life
The college campus is so good and environmental friendly there are lot of places for us to spend oru free times and SB College have the biggest library in South india with morethan 400000 physical books and i also have digital library facility.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is great for me. Our hostel is named St.Berchmans hostel. Its rooms are big enough for 4 people to stay, and only 3 persons are within the room, and all are single-coat beds. Rent is also affordable to everyone. Only 1500 per month
Admission
I chose this college because I got admission here first and as well as the tradition of the college at my joining year it was the 100th year of the college. SB College initiates the admission process first compared to other colleges and university.
Faculty
The faculties are well experienced and friendly we can approach them whenever it's needed. For me, there are a few of the best faculty members like Varsha M Nair, Elizabeth Joseph, Anu Jose and many more. They are really good at teaching as well as more like a friend to me. There are a total of 34 exams from B.com students and all are qualified questions.
Night Life
Our nightlife is poor only hostel boys are allowed to stay within the campus after 6pm that is because college hostels are within the campus and programs are not conducted during the night time that is a negative I felt about my college
