Established in 1964, St. Xavier’s College for Women is located in Aluva, Kerala. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and currently conducts 13 UG and 6 PG programs along with M. St. Xavier’s College for Women offers a number of courses in the UG and PG level. All admissions to the college are in accordance with the enrollment guidelines of the Mahatma Gandhi University. Both aided and self-financed courses are offered by the college.

According to NIRF 2020 data, in the AY 2018 – 19, 24 UG and 13 PG students were placed with a median salary of INR 1.5 LPA. CTC offered to students recruited through the college’s placement drive is on an average in the range of INR 60,000 p.a. – INR 1.2 LPA. The highest package recorded was INR 4.08 LPA offered to a Communicative English student during an off-campus placement opportunity.
Approximately INR 8.31 lacs is distributed among 275+ deserving students annually in the form of institutional scholarships at St. Xavier’s College for Women. Several Financial assistance options are available from the state and central governments as well as other national agencies for deserving students. Eligibility of the course was twelth pass and a percentage of 80. Also my admission was through MG university Ekajalakam. It's an centralised allotment process with reservation benefits for SC, ST, and OBC also. As well as for physically challenged or victims too.

There is no entrance exams. Students who passed 12 th with 80 above percentage can get merit seats just by registering in mg. University portal. And arranging with your interested college list. Once the registration notification comes we can register.
Cut off 70 -80 percent for 12th std. The application form and application details are available in the college. Reservation for sports quto and arts to available management to available and self-finance also available.
The course educational plan takes into account the necessities of the college. There are goals explicitly referenced for each subjects in every semester. In this way there is straightforwardness in the motivation behind training. The college follows semester framework comprising of a half year. Degree courses have six semesters (3year course)whereas PG courses have four semesters(two year course). Every semester there will be interior assessment with two inner assessments. Additionally before the finish of the semester, there will be an outer assessment by the University.
The syllubi followed was according to the one provided by the University. The faculties complete the syllubus with the time and even spare time for revision. The laboratory facility is also satisfactory and we are assisted by experienced lab assistants.
The course syllabus relating to taxation was changing as per changes in the amendments in the taxation policy. The faculties were very good. Teaching and non teaching staffs were very helpful and supportive.

The curriculum of the college is always updated as per the trends in the market so as to provide the updated knowledge to the students. The college conducts the examination for all the subjects semester wise. The subjects included in the B. Com (computer Application) are Information technology for business, Income tax, Business regulatory framework.
The college follows the updated curriculum and helps the students in knowing the updated trends of the market in the field of travel and tourism. The college conducts the examination for all the subjects related to commerce with the specialisation in travel and tourism yearly. The subjects include Banking, Business studies, Accounting, Fundamentals of tourism, Marketing Operations, Travel and Tourism infrastructure.
There is a lot of focus on course research. The curriculum provides advanced knowledge on the subject. Application-based tests test students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The exam pattern is little bit tuff, but college faculty makes it easy for the students.
