The college was established in 1964 on the banks of River Periyar in Aluva, Kerala. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. It has been ranked #91 as India’s Best Science Colleges 2020, #82 as India’s Best Arts Colleges 2020 and #93 as India’s Best Commerce Colleges 2020 by India Today.

- Recent Passport size photograph in jpeg format (should not be more than 6 months old).
- Pass certificate of qualifying examination in PDF format.
- SSLC certificate in PDF format.

- The candidates need to apply online through the MGU website and they will be shortlisted for admission through the Central Allotment Process (CAP) of MGU.
- Reserved category candidates such as Community, Management, Cultural, Sports, and Physically Disabled Quota have to apply online through the St. Xavier’s College for Women website.
- Fill the online application form and pay the application fee of INR 160 through credit/ debit card.
- Save and print the application form for future use.
- Applicants are shortlisted based on merit, conduct, and character.
- The Merit lists will be released either on the College notice board or the College website. Shortlisted applicants will receive Interview letters via post.

St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva Scholarship
St. Xavier's College for Women distributed approximately INR 8.31 Lakhs in the form of institutional scholarship among 275+ deserving students. Along with this several Financial assistance, options are available for the deserving students from the state and central governments as well as other national agencies. As per NIRF 2020 data, 866 UG and 70 PG students have received 100% tuition fee reimbursement from the State and Central Government. Some of the major scholarship provisions at the college are:

As this is a women's college, here I'm getting a space for being empowered. And also my parent's homeland was aluva . And I choosed to prefer this college according to their good review. I had applied in other colleges and I was permitted. But at that time this allotment cam and I choose this.

Eligibility of the course was twelth pass and a percentage of 80. Also my admission was through MG university Ekajalakam. It's an centralised allotment process with reservation benefits for SC, ST, and OBC also. As well as for physically challenged or victims too.

There is no entrance exams. Students who passed 12 th with 80 above percentage can get merit seats just by registering in mg. University portal. And arranging with your interested college list. Once the registration notification comes we can register.

College nurtures the young girls to ignited minds both academically and socially. The department of physics provides excellent space for the enthusiastic learners to mould their knowledge in both theoretical and practical perspective.

The main factor which drove me to take admission in this college is it one of the best colleges for women. The fee structure is feasible for all the courses.
The college is situated within city. The reason why I chose this course is that it has more job opportunities and there is more scope for taxation during upcoming years.
