What Students Say
Likes
- The programs..there are a lot of programs that are conducted almost every week in the college
- The placements that they offer.. they offer placements in a lot of top companies
- The campus.. the campus is quite big, There are a lot places you can spend time at during your free periods there are about three canteens as well
Dislikes
- Sb college initially didn’t have uniforms but now since they’ve bought uniforms.. you’ll have to wear uniforms for every program
- The exam schedule the second Sem as well as fourth sem gets done quick so all the exams, viva and everything will be done altogether
- The staff.. sometimes if there is any case of refund they’ll delay the procedure a lot.. it gets very frustrating to the point you’ll give up
Course Curriculum Overview
I would say it is very relevant They do provide real world applications There's a program called finishing school that is 3 days long that'll help you in your further entrance exams There's a placement assessment cell as well which helps you in preparing for group discussions as well as interviews
Internships Opportunities
I'm just in the second year right now I'll only be offered internship facilities during my vacation for third year and so I don't know the internship facilities yet but they'll let you know about them when it's time
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from the third year That is when the placement drive happens Many companies will approach the college and you can choose which company you want to apply for They'll conduct aptitude tests as well as interviews I plan on going for mba after my degree and then look for jobs later
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees for first Sem for BCom Finance and taxation (SF) would be 26500 and for the second sem it would be 20480 The third and fourth sem fee would be 19500 each... The exam registration fee is 750 excluding union fees For management quota you'll have to pay the whole first year fees altogether ie, 50000 You can get admitted through merit and for sc/st they would reduce the fee to a redux amount
Campus Life
There are a lot of fests that are conducted by various departments... I havent seen a commerce fest in the self financing department yet but hopefully that happens soon I am a part of the dance club and I would say they are one of the most active clubs in the college as well as the music club
Admission
The admission process is quite simple You have to fill an application form as well as your Aadhar card, your mark sheets and your transfer certificates from your school If you're going through management quota you'll have to pay the first year's fees as well
Faculty
The faculty members I would say are very kind You can approach them whenever you want they are very friendly.. Most of them are young teachers as well so they understand us very well. The exams I would say are moderate If you're from the commerce stream you can easily clear them It's all the basics so if u do study you'll be able to clear it
Night Life
The longest you can stay in the college is till 6 unless there are some programs that take place at night There are a lot of places you can hangout There are three canteens where you can hangout as well as basketball court, indoor court etc There are also other places that we call the "Pulimaram" as well as the "fountain"
