Fees and Financial Aid:

My fees for every year is 2500000 for mbbs course. And my hostel fees is 220000. At the time of admission a one timw admission fees was taken amounting to rs 10000 non- refundable. There is no fees like caution fees, lab fees or development fees. There is no scholarship schemes pr financial aid. The fees is same for all categories. The fees has now been increased to 2800000 and hostel fees is 260000.

The year-wise fees for the particular department I choosed include 125000 per year with a registration fees of 10k. And there may be some fee may be there for getting placement training classes and campus interviews. I joined through management quota and I selected MSc Computer Science after completing my ug.

I applied for MBBS course at SRM college, since I couldn't get good score at NEET , I opted a management quota seat for my study , so when I applied for the MBBS seat they said the fee structure including lab fee, tution fee and Instrument fee. The year wise fee I paid was Rs. 25,00,000.Few of my friends were through Govt. Quota and their fee structure was the same as the amount they quoted in councilling. Their fee structure including Tuition fees, caution fees, and etc was 18,00,000. Actually the college is expensive but they provide a best quality justifying the fee structure

I paid 300000 yearly fees. My college took 300000 tution fee, every few was included in that only. My college also takes exam fee of around 3000 for every end semester exams. All of my batchmates have 300000 fees only. Reservation category is there for students.

Year wise fees is constant for 2 to 3 years still I join SRM University. The fee is 1.15 lakh. Smae fees for all the students. Also students from Army background would get scholarship in fees. There is around 5% to 10% scholarship or more.

SRMIST has set the highest standards!

Fees and Financial Aid:

SRMIST is a premiere Engineering college in Chennai and commands a premium fees too. The yearly fees for CSE here is 4.5 lakhs a year. The hostel fees in which I stay is 3 sharing Non/AC and fees for the same is 1.18 lakhs a year.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

So the year wise fees is 400000 for 2023 batch in got increase for 2024 batch.So the registration fees is 10000 and 4 lakhs for collage and hostel fees is different .So if any one got rank below 200 in srmjee will get discount upto 100% free fees .They have so much options for scolarships if any one is from army background and got good rank in srmjee.

My experience at SRM IST,Chennai I am enrolled in SRM University and my annual fees is 300000.Considering the infrastructure,faculty ,labs and placement support,SRM has offered God value for what I am paying. The campus is modern,labs and workshop are well-equipped. Professors are approachable and the curriculum is relevant with good tie-ups/industry exposure. Even though the fees are relatively high,I was able to get scholarship(via SRM JEEE /merit) which significantly reduced the financial burder.withiut that it would have been difficult. Other fees(registration, development,lab,etc.) and hostel/message add up. So 300000/year is not the only expanse. The scholarship/waiver you get may require you to maintain a high CGPA in following years. If performance falls,waiver might be reduced or lost. Fee increments are happening; newer batches pay more.So if you join later, expect somewhat higher fees Over Verdict: For what I pay ,SRM IST gives a good academic, faculties and career prospects.the financial, and career prospects. The financial aid I got made a big difference. If you can secure a scholarship and are serious about studies, this college is worth it. And placement is also good here ,evey big MNCs is come here for hiring .

The SRM University has different fee structures for MDS according to its specialisations. Given below are the first year fees of MDS specialisations:

  • Prosthodontics- INR 1,100,000
  • Oral and Maxillofacial- INR 1,400,000
  • Conservative- INR 1,400,000
  • Paediatrics and Preventive Dentistry- INR 1,200,000
  • Public Health Dentistry- INR 6,00,000

No, SRM University does not offer any fee concession to the SC and ST categories students. However, there are need based scholarships as tuition fee waiver available for the students whose family income is below 2 lacs. The merit based scholarships are also available upto 100%.

You can get admission to the Bachelors of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Science program on the basis of scores of the last qualifying examination. The registration process for the course has already started for the 2022 – 2025 academic session.

The fees for the hostel facilities offered by SRM Institute Of Science And Technology (SRMIST) Chennai can be anywhere between INR 29,000 – INR 1,50,000 for the entire duration of the courses which includes various charges such as mess charges, registration fees, etc.

For applying for admission to B.Sc. In nursing, the NEET  examination scores are not considered. Instead of this, admission to the course is done based on the SRMJEEH examination.

Yes, there is an entrance examination SRMJEEH which is conducted by the university for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course. You must have completed your 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the aggregate for being eligible for admission.
