- Location is very accessible since it is located within the city.
- Placement preparation and the available placement offers are great.
- The Campus is small, and thus it is easy to travel in between blocks.
Dislikes
- The emphasis on old practices like writing records, observations and maintaining handwritten notes can be irritating.
- The acaedemic schedule can be very hectic.
- Strict adherence to the old ways of teaching and conducting exams can be very exhausting.
Admission:
Applied to many colleges through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Counselling portal, but got placed here. The counselling admission process was pretty straightforward, cutoffs were high for my category but once selected, it was a very streamlined process for admission; can't complain.

- The Professors at EEC are highly knowledgeable and approachable. Many just go beyond normal curriculum giving us real world insights and career guidance
- There is a good balance between fun and academics with regular fests, clubs and events that encourage student participation
- The placement cell is proactive offering training sessions , tie ups and mock ups with reputed companies. Final year students secure offers in final year and career guidance throughout
Dislikes
- While the curriculum is solid, more guest lectures form industry experts could enhance practical learning futher
- The core areas like classrooms and labs are good t\but the college could still use some Modern day touch
- The college is academically sound , but adding more creative programs like entrepreneurship will be a great value add
Admission:
I chose EEC because it struck the right balance between academic quality, campus life, placement oportunitites and affordability. Among the ones i chose EEC stood out for its consistent reputation, structured curriculum and placements in top companies

- Need more high package placements for Biomedical Graduates
- More student count to be needed for the course only few sections present
- Very much free campus life and need to be a little strict
Admission:
SRM is very much popular and has good placements with good academic life.
Applied for SRMJEEE scored a bit above the cutoff marks for the year 2021 and got the course Biomedical Engineering.
hostel facilities also present whaich made me relocate.

- most flexible timetable in srm ramapuram. most of the days you can leave at 11:30 am. gives you a lot of time
- easily get marks, fill up your paper as much as you can and youre good to go
Dislikes
- boys to girls ratio, thered be 10 girls and 50 boys in engineering.
- some teachers have no knowledge in the subject theyre teaching
- rules can be strict at ramapuram at times, especially the dress code. boys and girls cant sit together either
Admission:
so i decided i wanted this college right after i completed 11th std boards. it wasn't as far as the other colleges. it wasnt strict but not too liberal either. you have the best timetable each sem (almost) and you will def get marks if you study just a bit. has one event or the another going on (most of the events are held by easwari but youll have access to most of them) .canteen food is also nice and you have almost nothing to worry about. just study every now and then, work on wtv skills you want to and youre set

- Drinking water in the college is bit disgusting
- Restroom is not well maintained and cleaned
- Overcrowding in lifts and steps ,no proper schedule to the lift

I chose this college because I wanted good placements,and this college offers succesful placement over the past,this college offer to study a Semester in abroad,which is very useful for the career and it also supports many projects

- The campus is peaceful and green, with clean labs, good classrooms, and a nice study vibe. Most things are well kept.
- Many teachers are friendly and clear in their teaching. Some guide you well if you’re stuck, which is very helpful.
- Campus life is simple but nice. Clubs, sports, and weekend events happen and help you meet new people easily.
Dislikes
- Some of the buses feel very old and slow. AC doesn't work well at times, and rides feel tiring on hot days.
- Few teachers seem disinterested or just read slides with no effort made to explain topics in an easy way.
- The whole physics department here felt weak. Most teachers lack clear answers and avoid deep questions.
Admission:
The admission process at SRM Sonepat was smooth and simple. I applied online through the official website. You can get in either through the SRMJEEE entrance exam or through direct admission based on your 12th marks. SRMJEEE is the most preferred way, and students who score well often get good scholarships too (from 10% to 100% tuition fee waiver). I took direct admission since I didn’t take SRMJEEE. The eligibility was 50% or more in Class 12 with PCM subjects.
Overall, I found the admission experience quite stress-free. They provide decent guidance and support throughout the process, and I got my seat confirmed quickly without any hidden issues.

- SRM has a modern, well-maintained campus with high-tech labs, massive central library, and a strong wifi connection throughout the campus. Almost all buildings provide elevation and air conditioner.
- Almost every professor is a PhD holder, and most faculty members are supportive, approachable, and well-versed in their subject areas.
- From fests, hackathons, and clubs to international programs, there is no shortage of exposure. The lifestyle is vibrant, with students from across the country and lots of clubs and co-curricular options.
Dislikes
- The fees of SRM is on the very expensive side, especially for CSE branch. The hostel fees is very high too making it unaffordable for most people in country. The ROI is not great either for majority students.
- While CSE gets good placements, core branches like Biotech, Civil, and Mechanical don't recieve equal placement attention or package levels. Most of the students leave college unplaced. Even for CSE, most students are placed in mass recruiter company
- The batch sizes are huge, competition can be intense, and sometimes individual attention or help from faculty might get delayed.
Admission:
Well, SRM is where i got CSE in the first round of counselling itself, and since it is a prestigeous institution with 100% placement under CSE, I was satisfied with the college. I also got a very good rank in wbjee, but the quality of education is falling tremendously here in bengal, the crime rates are getting high too. I also scored well in ComedK, but the expenditure of Bangalore life is as high as SRM fees, so, practically it was better for me to choose SRM.
I didn't get selected in VIT for CSE. My rank was ot great, nor was my preparation.
One can get admission in SRM through their entrance examination SRMJEEE. Someone with 60% aggregate in higher secondary is eligible to sit for this examination. Seat allocated is based on ranks and seat availbility, which changes every year.

- The campus is really big and is a lush green campus.
- There are many opportunities in college for ex. Bootcamps and internships are provided by the college
- All the clubs are active and operational in college according to your hobbies
Dislikes
- College is very over crowded and you will literally feel suffocated in the campus
- The fee of the courses are very high and for everything thing a fee is charged
- Even fests tickets are over prized and crowded
Admission:
I applied in Manipal and vit but the culture in Manipal and strictness is not good as compared to SRM. VIT WAS very far from Chennai Central and airport while on the other hand srm is just 20 km away from airport and 45 km away from Chennai Central

- The teaching of some faculties is very bad.
- Some of the classes doesn't even have a smart board
- The evaluation of marks depend on the facilities
Admission:
I got a good mark in the SRMJEE and had a rank of 6000 in the first exam . I got in VIT but the availability of AI was only in SRM and the placement is also the same . No much difference in placements

Admission process is that it holds an exam online in three phases consisting of MCQs
In this people are selected according to their scored marks and they are allotted a campus of srm
Also those scoring good under 100 rank are offered a scholarship of 100 percent in tuition fees
I got a confirmation from UPES dehradun but i thought and realised that srm is better and a bigger achievement for me than other colleges i got a confirmation
