Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has started conducting the NMAT exam 2024 from November 5, 2024 onwards. Based on the slots, candidates can appear for the exam till December 20, 2024. To appear for the exam, candidates must download the NMAT admit card seven days before the exam date.
NMAT exam can be attempted thrice after 15 days interval in this 45-day window. GMAC has started the NMAT retake registration 2024. The last date to apply for the retake exam is December 17, 2024. Candidates willing to take admission into MBA/PGDM course must fill the form within deadline at mba.com/exams/nmat.
The NMAT exam is offered at over 75 testing centers across India. However, it's important to note that exam slots are available on specific dates during the testing period and have limited capacity. The slots in NMAT are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so timely registration is crucial to secure your preferred date and location.
- The initial registration for the exam and any subsequent retakes require a payment of INR 2,800, along with applicable taxes.
- Candidates who wish to send their score reports to institutions beyond the first five included with registration will be subject to an additional fee of INR 300 per report, plus applicable taxes.
- Finally, a fee of INR 1,200, plus applicable taxes, will be assessed for rescheduling the exam date after initial registration.

Who all are Eligible?

NMAT VS CAT
The CAT, or Common Admission Test, is the biggest admission exam in India run by the Indian Institutes of Management. To apply for an IIM, you have to take the CAT. Apart from colleges that accept the CAT and the NMAT, the main difference is that you can only take the CAT once in a testing year, while you can take the NMAT by GMAC three times.

NMAT Scores
After the NMAT exam is conducted, GMAC calculates the NMAT scaled score based on the marks obtained by them in the exam. The overall NMAT scaled score is 36-360, while the sectional scaled score is 12-120. NMAT scaled score is calculated based on the probabilistic model approach.

Most of the colleges in India accept NMAT cut-off scores. The admissions are not evaluated with percentile, however, the NMAT percentile calculation is simple.

For Example, If a total of 30,000 students took the NMAT exam and you achieved a rank of 200, your NMAT percentile can be calculated using the following formula:

GMAC announces exam result within 48 hours of the exam. Check your score, you need to NMAT login details which were provided during the registration.
