NMAT by GMAC 2026 Exam Centers list has been announced as part of the official NMAT 2026 notification released by GMAC. The exam is scheduled to be held across 79 test cities in India and in 4 international countries from November 5 to December 19, 2026. Unlike most national entrance exams, NMAT by GMAC does not allot a fixed exam center to candidates. After completing registration, each candidate self-schedules their preferred test city, date, and time slot through the NMAT candidate dashboard - slots are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. All details related to the candidate’s NMAT exam center, venue, date, and time will be available on the NMAT Admit Card 2026, released seven days before the scheduled exam date.

GMAC is going to conduct NMAT by GMAC 2026 across 79 cities in India as well as in 4 international countries. Candidates can choose their preferred test city, exam date, and time slot during the scheduling window through the NMAT candidate dashboard at mba.com/exams/nmat. Scheduling operates on a first-come-first-served basis; candidates who register early and schedule promptly are more likely to secure their preferred test city and date within the November 5 to December 19, 2026 exam window.

NMAT 2026 Online Proctored Delivery

In addition to physical Pearson VUE test centers, NMAT by GMAC 2026 offers an Online Proctored delivery option as part of its 2026 notification. This mode allows eligible candidates to take the exam from home through a supervised online interface - without travelling to a physical test center. The online proctored mode is primarily available for candidates residing outside India (Rest of World). India-based candidates must appear at an authorised Pearson VUE test center within the 79 cities announced in the notification.

How to check NMAT Exam Center 2026 Allotted?

NMAT by GMAC 2026 does not follow the traditional center allotment model used by NTA or state CET conducting bodies. After completing registration, each candidate self-schedules their exam by choosing a preferred test city, date, and time slot through the NMAT candidate dashboard. Scheduling is on a first-come-first-served basis, and popular test cities tend to fill up quickly. Candidates are strongly advised to complete registration early and schedule their exam as soon as the scheduling window opens, to secure seats in their preferred city.

Once scheduling is complete, GMAC sends a confirmation email to the registered email address. The specific test center address within the chosen city is confirmed on the NMAT Admit Card 2026, which becomes available seven days before the scheduled exam date.

Steps to schedule and check the NMAT 2026 exam center are as follows:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NMAT by GMAC.
• Step 2: Log in to the NMAT 2026 candidate dashboard using the registered email ID and password.
• Step 3: Click on the "Schedule Exam" tab visible on the dashboard.
• Step 4: Choose a preferred test city from the list of available NMAT 2026 exam center cities.
• Step 5: Select a preferred exam date and time slot based on real-time availability at the chosen city.
• Step 6: Confirm the booking. GMAC will send a confirmation email to the registered email address once scheduling is complete.
• Step 7: Download the NMAT Admit Card 2026 from the candidate dashboard seven days before the scheduled exam date to view the exact test center address, reporting time, and exam slot details.

NMAT 2026 Exam Center Change: Is It Allowed?

NMAT by GMAC 2026 allows candidates to reschedule their exam after the initial scheduling. Rescheduling includes the option to change the test city, exam date, and time slot. However, rescheduling is subject to slot availability at the new preferred center and requires payment of a reschedule fee. Candidates cannot make changes after the rescheduling deadline announced by GMAC.

Note: Candidates must choose their preferred NMAT test city carefully at the time of initial scheduling. Each rescheduling request attracts a fee, and availability at the new preferred center cannot be guaranteed.

NMAT 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates must follow these instructions at the NMAT 2026 exam center on the day of the exam:

1. Carry at least two printed copies of the NMAT Admit Card 2026 to the exam center. Entry will not be permitted without the admit card.
2. Carry a valid government-issued photo ID proof - Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Aadhaar Card. Candidates who do not produce a valid photo ID will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
3. Carry a printout of the GMAC scheduling confirmation email as additional proof of registration and slot booking.
4. Report to the NMAT exam center at least 45 minutes before the scheduled exam time. Arriving 90 minutes early is recommended to complete biometric registration and check-in formalities without any last-minute rush.
5. If possible, visit the NMAT exam center one day before the exam to identify the exact location and route.
6. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, and all electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Deposit such items at the designated storage area at the center before entering.
7. Parents, friends, and guardians are not permitted inside the NMAT exam center at any point during the exam.
8. Rough sheets will be provided at the exam center. Do not bring external stationery or rough paper. All rough sheets must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
9. Do not sign the NMAT Admit Card before the invigilator instructs you to do so at the center.
10. After the exam begins on screen, accept the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before proceeding. Choose the preferred section order at the start of the test - this choice cannot be changed once confirmed.
11. All NMAT 2026 exam centers are under CCTV surveillance. Any malpractice or violation of exam rules will result in immediate disqualification.
