I chosed this course because it has less demand and doing pg can improve my scope and bassically i like electric and mechanical stuffs so i chose Faculty to student ratio is like 10:1 Teachers actually dont care student ,only some do care, some are very strict and some are cool Its easy to pass and endsem papers are basically previous year papers exact same copy
Mechatronics is a course that is not offered in many colleges in India. The main focus of the course is automation and robotics. I chose the course because the batch strength for my stream was less and the course curriculum was very interesting. There were around 160 students in my batch and roughly 30 teachers. The practical part of the curriculum could have been better, exams were conducted quite regularly in the college. Every month exams were conducted but the questions were almost similar to every year's paper. Clearing the exams was not as difficult as it seems.
The course is a unique one that's why I choose this. About the college, it's pretty convenient timings and friendly facilities. Most of the facilities are PHD graduates. We have 3 cycle tests considering 50% of scores as internal and the rest 50% is external i.e final exam
The course curriculum in mechatronics was very structured and well defined. We had multiple subjects from both mechanical as well as electronics branches as well as core mechatronics subjects. The quality of the faculty was great although occasionally one may face some problems due to most teachers being Tamilians. This is not the case in other streams such as CSE, IT etc. We had a lot of assignments, lab sessions, surprise tests, and internal exams which constituted our internal marks (50% weightage) and there were the semester final exams which were the other 50%. The difficulty was decent.
Free structure for mechatronics is 250000 excluding hostel fee. Hostel fee starts from 150000. We can stay in hostel or outside pg. scholarship will be provided for those who toped in sem exams
I am willing to choose Mechatronics as there is wide range of scope. There is Directorate of Organisation and Faculty Development. Faculty achievements are viewed by everyone without any hide and the achievements are very motivated and high level. EVarsity, a comprehensive ERP platform covers all academic processes. Faculty members mark the student's attendance by logging into this portal. Digital Library hepls the faculty members to make use of the knowledge resources of the University. The qualification of the faculty are most of them have more than three PhD. There are many simple and smart teaching methods they include in which the best one was the innovative teaching methods for Allied Health Professionals A Faculty Development Program. There was two terms in a year and the difficult was passing is some what high grade to make the students to face the exact difficult where they will face in the future.
Comprehension, which will revise the whole semester subjects, employability skills which provides how to be prepared in a campus selection, some other department subjects also we can choose for knowledge, like a btech student can have a study about business, entrepreneurship etc.
The fee structure varies from department to department. Few departments require more lab facilites and the fees accordingly increase compared to few other departments which require lesser facilities.
My program fee is 2.5L per annum. I think it's bit high compared to other colleges but keeping in mind the number of labs and freedom to do research, money is not a big thing. They accept only Demand Draft. No additional charges are required to secure admission but need to pay the entrance exam fee and registration fee alone. No, the college does not provide transparency in fee breakdown.
