Ques. Does Amrita University Coimbatore provide scholarships for M.Tech?
Ans. Yes. Amrita University provides scholarships for GATE qualified candidates. As per the norms of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), all the GATE qualified candidates receive a Post Graduate Scholarship of INR 12,400/- per month through its Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme for full time GATE qualified students admitted to AICTE approved programs, All the M. Tech. Programs of Amrita University are approved by AICTE for GATE scholarships. Students can avail scholarships worth INR 1 LPA, for M.Tech programs and additional scholarships of INR 10 Lakhs per student on joining integrated M.Tech and PhD courses. Highly motivated students are also given ample opportunities to pursue dual degree programs with universities in Europe, US and Australia. The university provides scholarships to Non Gate candidates as well. Students possessing a CGPA above 8 in B.Tech are awarded with INR 5,000 per month, whlle scoring a CGPA between 7 and 8 ensures a monthly amount of INR 2,500. These scholarships are awarded for 5 months in the first semester of M.Tech and thieir continuation in subsequent years is subject to reevaluation of the academic performance of the awardee.

Wi-Fi is provided in the hostels along with hot water and laundry facilities. Gyms and games facilities are also provided.
