- The placement system from the last year is bad and they're blaming it on the recession
- I chose this course because i like the course minimum qualification is mtech depending on the semester courses it is very difficult to pass the exams questions papers are very tough and we should work very hard during exams.

The university has a placement cell that organizes various training sessions. Students who are eligible and opted for placements have more than one job offer, on average. Placements are facilitated by enhancing industry-academia association through frequent visits, interactions with the top management and facilitation of Faculty Development Programs, Student Visits, Industrial Training, and Project Guidance under the Corporate Action Plan. In 2019 several of our students obtain paid internships as a part of their PG program at leading companies such as Schlumberger, Microsoft, Intel, Daimler, etc. These internships last six months to one year and often lead to direct placements within their respective companies. The median internship amount was at INR 25,000 per month and the highest offered was INR 80,000 per month.

- Faculty Inconsistency : While most faculty members are experienced, a few are as competent , this affects the learning experience certain subjects
- Girls hostel have very rigid rules and timings that are not flexible. ardens are generally fine but the stictness is little limiting

I wrote VIT, Amrita, EAPCET, TC EMCET, JEE Mains, JEE Advanced. Vit I got mechanical engineering with a 5.6 lakh fee so I did not choose it. EAPCET I got Vishnu college in IT course. TS EMCET I got Mallareddy collage in the first round. For Amrita I have written AEEE exam I got an 85 % and for Jee mains 79%.

I have applied for SRM university , VIT, Christ, and NGP institute and obviously for amrita too. the reason why i choose amrita over the other college is that te course it offered to me which the other colleges dont even have such course exept amrita. I dont get any rejection in any of these colleges but in some case i have not applied for counselling rounds as parents were not allowing me to travel such a long distance for my college . I have not applied counselling for VIT and Christ . Our college has only two types of addmission process which is through management quota and the other is through the counselling . For counselling you can use your amrita entrance examination score or your JEE score. the eligibility for this course is that we need atleast 60% or above in our 12th grades in physics , chemistry and maths. The admission process was very hectic has it has three rounds of counselling and during the time of allotment i had feared a lot

I chose this college for the ambience and the for the level of importance they give to the cultural aspects. Then It was near my house. The placements opurtunites is more when compare to the other colleges nearby.

The campus infrastructure was really good compared to other colleges.The placements are more better than other universities.The faculties are good and their teaching is very good.The college admissions is based on the scored in AEEE exam and they are separated based on slab.

- There are very less cases regarding ragging and bullying in the campus .

- The fees is extremly high compared to other universities and colleges .
- The food they provide in the hostells are very bad, even the campus cafeterias and canteens are not much impressing .
Admission:
This college has great placement facilities . The courses and the programs they offer you to enhance your knowledge is interesting which made me choose this college over other universities . The admission process is pretty much simple it is based on the marks you had scored in ur boards in 12th and the AEEE exam score . If you opt to not attend AEEE exam then you will have to come under non scholarship program .

i chose this college because i really liked the quality of the education provided in this college, and this college is ranked really high in the national ranking. computer science is a really well developed course in our campus and i really like it. admissions is pretty straight forward and this was the best ranked college of all colleges i applied to.

Dislikes
- Hostel and mess food can be largely improved. Facilities are decent but have a lot of scope for improvement.
- The fact that students have to pitch in everytime for every events and not a lot of funds are given by the college is a bit saddening. That could be changed.
Admission:
The eligibility criteria for all the colleges I applied was to score 60% in the graduate course in a relevant area of biology or computer science. I chose Amrita over the other colleges I applied to as I had spoken to alummni from here and heard extremely positive things about the university. Their networking, knowledge and dedication to education and research is admirable and also sparks a fire in us to do the same. A simple example would be the dean teaching about patents by giving an example of his own parenting process for a group project. The admission process for my college involves an online Entrance examination along with an interview. The scores of both of these is taken into consideration to give students two choices for their admission. Apart from Amrita. I had applied to IBAB and Manipal. I got a confirmation from Manipal but rejected it as I was no longer interested in the course they offered. I had talked to some alumni from Manipal and they suggested me to look somewhere else for my course. As for IBAB, it also involves an entrance exam and another interview. I could not clear the entrance exam and thus failed the selection.

Which university is better to join among Amrita and Kalinga (read details)?
Having known some people studying in both these institutes, I can say that Kalinga University (KU) is much better than Amrita University. Here are some points in support of this statement.
- KU has a great reputation and is often compared with the NITs.
- The placements at KU are far better than at Amrita University.
- Top companies like Infosys, Accenture, HP, PWC, TCS, Dell, etc. take part in their placement program.
- They have a huge campus, very well maintained and equipped with all the necessary facilities.
- The campus environment is excellent with well-equipped hostel rooms.

The per year fee of Amrita Vishva Vidyapeetham B.Tech. CSE is INR Six lacs. The second, third and fourth year fees are also the same as the first year. The total fee is INR Twenty four lacs.

BTech, MTech, and MBA are the three most popular courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech program must appear for the JEE Main or AEEE entrance exam. The entrance exams for all the courses at AVV Coimbatore has already been over except for MBA i.e XAT/CAT exam will be conducted in November 2023.
The minimum required percentage for MBA in Amritha Vishwa Vidyapeetham is 50%.
